## Description

This slim clear case from TORRAS combines minimalist looks with a built-in adjustable magnetic stand, letting you prop up your iPhone 17 Pro Max for hands-free viewing while keeping the phone’s design visible. It’s framed as an open-edge, ultra-thin protector that aims to preserve clarity and reduce yellowing, making it practical for everyday use and media consumption.

## Key Points

The case features a frameless double-sided open-edge design that shows off the iPhone’s original finish while reducing the feeling of added bulk. According to the manufacturer, the hard Bayer polycarbonate resists scratches and maintains transparency for longer than standard plastics. The integrated magnetic stand rotates from 0 to 180 degrees to deliver flexible viewing angles for video calls or streaming, and it is compatible with MagSafe accessories and chargers. Drop protection is rated to survive falls up to 12 feet and the raised bezels help shield the display and camera lenses. TORRAS includes lifetime customer care and a 365-day free replacement policy according to the brand.

## Technical Specifications

- Name: **TORRAS Ostand Slim for iPhone 17 Pro Max**
- Compatibility: iPhone 17 Pro Max, 6.9"
- Material: Bayer polycarbonate hard shell
- Stand: Magnetic adjustable stand, 0–180 degrees
- Drop protection: Up to 12 feet, raised bezels 1.0 mm front and 1.5 mm camera edge

## Usage Recommendations

Use the magnetic stand to set the phone at low angles for typing or steeper angles for watching videos. The thin open-edge fit makes wireless charging and MagSafe attachment straightforward, although very tight cases or added screen protectors can slightly alter the fit, so check alignment when first installing. The clear polycarbonate offers good scratch resistance, but consider routine cleaning to keep transparency and avoid residue buildup on the edges.

## Positive Aspects

The minimalist aesthetic keeps the phone’s lines visible while adding functional support for hands-free use with the magnetic stand. The combination of a durable Bayer polycarbonate shell and raised camera and screen bezels provides an extra layer of protection without a bulky profile. One nuance to consider is that ultra-thin clear cases may show fingerprints more readily than textured finishes, and long-term exposure to sunlight can affect any transparent plastic over time.
