TORRAS MiniMag PB4D Magnetic Wireless Power Bank, 5,000mAh, 0.3-Inch Slim

A pocketable backup battery and a higher-capacity charger solve different problems. The TORRAS MiniMag PB4D is built for a light carry, with a slim magnetic design and 5,000mAh capacity for a quick boost while you’re out.

It attaches magnetically to compatible iPhones and supports MagSafe wireless charging. For Android or other non-MagSafe phones, the product details specify using a magnetic ring case, sold separately.

Would you rather keep a charger attached to your phone or carry more capacity for extended use? The MiniMag leans toward convenience and everyday top-ups.

How it fits

At 4.01 x 2.5 x 0.3 inches, the gray power bank is designed to stay with a phone rather than take up much room on its own. It can suit a commute, a day of errands, or a short wait between meetings when you want extra battery without carrying a larger pack. Its magnetic attachment also avoids a loose charging cable while you use the phone.

It’s a great fit if you want a slim, attachable backup for a compatible iPhone and are comfortable with a 5,000mAh capacity. For non-MagSafe phones, the stated magnetic setup requires a compatible magnetic case or a separately sold ring case. If you routinely need multiple full charges away from an outlet, a larger power bank is a more suitable approach.

What stands out

The main appeal is the combination of magnetic wireless charging and a narrow 0.3-inch profile. The product also supports wired charging through USB-C, its stated charging rates are 7.5W wirelessly and up to 18W wired. The advertised 5,000mAh capacity is positioned for a top-up rather than a high-capacity replacement battery.

The product details describe an NTC temperature monitor that tracks surface temperature and reduces output if needed. Still, buyer feedback on charging speed is mixed, and some customers report that the power bank gets hot during use. That’s worth factoring in if you plan to keep it attached for long stretches or charge in a pocket. Buyers also commonly appreciate the slim, lightweight feel and appearance, while durability and value opinions vary.

Is it worth it?

The MiniMag makes the most sense when low bulk and a magnetic attachment matter more than carrying enough power for repeated recharges. Its dimensions and wireless option suit a quick charge at a desk, in transit, or while waiting somewhere, with wired charging available when you want that option. It might not be a great match if you need a larger reserve or expect charging performance to be consistent across every situation, buyer comments are divided on speed, and some mention heat during use.

Consider it as a compact everyday backup, not a substitute for a higher-capacity pack on a long trip. Check that your phone and case support the magnetic setup you plan to use, especially if you’re choosing it for a non-MagSafe device.
