## Description

## Technical details

The moving orange LED flame effect gives these Toodour solar Halloween lights a campfire-like look without using a real flame. The set includes four outdoor torch lights, each 20 inches tall, with three solar panels. They’re designed as decorative accents for a yard, garden, patio, walkway, or campsite—not as a replacement for a real fire or a specified-brightness security light.

The lights are rated IP65 for outdoor use. The listing says they can run for 12–15 hours after a full charge, though it doesn’t provide a brightness figure or explain how changing sunlight affects runtime. On the spec sheet, that runtime is tied to a full charge, so it’s better treated as a stated maximum than a nightly guarantee.

## Requirements

Each torch needs direct sunlight to charge. Once installed, an automatic switch is intended to turn the lights on at dusk and off at dawn, so there’s no wiring or nightly manual switch routine. A shaded placement may not suit this setup: choose spots where the solar panels can receive sunlight rather than tucking the torches beneath a covered porch or dense foliage.

## Usage tips

Connect each torch to its stake and spike, then push it into the ground in a sunny location. For a Halloween path, place the lights along the edge of a walkway or driveway so the flickering effect marks the route without occupying the center of the path. Grouping them can also create the campfire-style atmosphere described for camping or a yard gathering. Keep their decorative role in mind, the product details don’t specify enough light output to judge them as practical task or safety lighting.

Their no-wiring setup makes them easier to place than plug-in landscape lights, especially where an outlet or extension cord would be inconvenient. The tradeoff is that they depend on sunlight, unlike wired lights. If your preferred positions stay shaded, a plug-in option may be a better fit.

## Before you decide

**How long do the lights stay on?** The listing states 12–15 hours after a full charge. It doesn’t promise that duration in every location or weather condition.

**Do they need to be switched on each evening?** No manual nightly switching is described. The built-in automatic function is intended to turn them on at dusk and off at dawn.

**Can they be used outdoors in rain?** They have an IP65 rating, and the listing describes them as suitable for outdoor weather. The provided information doesn’t give further care or long-term exposure instructions.

## Should you buy it?

It suits you if you want four flame-effect accents for a sunny lawn, garden, pathway, or campsite, and prefer solar installation over running wires. The orange flicker is the main reason to choose this set over basic ground lights: it’s meant to add atmosphere, not just mark a spot with a steady glow.

You may want to skip it if you need dependable lighting for seeing details, need to place lights in shade, or want a runtime backed by conditions beyond the stated full-charge figure. For decorative outdoor lighting that can sit in direct sun and switch on automatically, the format is straightforward, for brightness-first or shade-dependent lighting, look for a product with those needs clearly addressed.
