## Description

Some workspaces need a stand that stays set up on a desk, others call for something easy to pack between locations. The Tonmom 104S is a foldable laptop riser with seven height settings and an open, tilted design. It is listed for laptops from 10 to 15.6 inches. Buyer feedback on stability is mixed, so a secure fit matters.

## Best use cases

The adjustable height makes this stand useful when a laptop screen sits too low for a particular desk setup. It can be raised from 2.78 to 6.5 inches across seven levels, giving you options for changing the screen position rather than relying on a fixed riser. At home or in an office, that can help adapt a shared or changing workspace, its foldable format also suits work that moves between locations.

The open structure and forward tilt leave space around the laptop for airflow, unlike placing a notebook flat on the desk. That design may appeal if you want to elevate a laptop without adding a closed platform. The stand is also described as compatible with tablets, though the listed size range is for laptops.

## What you’ll notice day to day

At 0.53 pounds, the stand is intended to be portable, and its foldable design can make it easier to carry in a bag than a fixed desk riser. Silicone pads help grip the device and protect the contact points, while the triangular support structure is intended to provide stability. These details are relevant for a setup that gets packed away after use, not just one that remains on a desk.

Buyers often highlight the adjustable positions and portability, but reports about stability are not uniform: some say their laptops stay secure, while others mention wobbling or sliding, including at a lower setting. That makes the surface, selected height, and fit worth considering, especially if you type with a firm touch. A conventional fixed stand may suit a permanent desk better, the 104S is more focused on adjustable positioning and portability.

## What to clarify

**Which laptops does it fit?** It is listed as compatible with laptops from 10 to 15.6 inches. The product information also names tablets, but does not give a separate tablet size range.

**How much can the height be adjusted?** There are seven settings, with a stated range from 2.78 to 6.5 inches.

**Is it practical to carry between workspaces?** It weighs 0.53 pounds and folds, so portability is a stated design feature. The listed information does not give a folded thickness consistently, so it is best not to assume a specific packed size.

## When it makes sense

It makes sense if you want an adjustable stand that can fold away and support a laptop within the stated size range. The airflow-focused open design is another useful distinction from simply keeping a laptop flat on a surface. You may want to skip it if you need a fixed, permanently placed support or require consistently firm stability while typing: buyer reports differ on wobble and slipping. If portability and multiple height positions matter more, the 104S addresses those needs without requiring a larger stationary setup.
