The spray is intended for spots where rodents may enter, nest, or forage, rather than as a physical seal. It is described as rain-resistant and long-lasting, with repeat application recommended every 30 days. That makes placement and upkeep part of the plan: it does not close gaps in walls or around pipes. For a more direct barrier, sealing an opening addresses the access point itself, this spray is the deterrent approach.

Practical tips

Apply around likely access points such as doors, windows, cracks, crevices, pipes, and vents. The can is described as spraying at any angle, which may help when reaching awkward locations. Use it only as directed around children and pets. The product information also recommends testing a small, hidden area first, and specifically says not to apply it to light-colored upholstery.

Buyer feedback is mixed on whether the repellent works: some describe it as helpful, while others say it did not deter rodents. Some appreciate the scent, but reports about spray performance also vary. These differing experiences are worth weighing if you need a dependable solution for an established rodent problem rather than a deterrent used around potential entry points.

Questions before you buy

How much area does one can cover? The stated coverage is approximately 275 sq. ft. Actual placement will depend on which entry points and surfaces you treat.

How often should it be reapplied? The product directions recommend repeating the application every 30 days. Its rain-resistant description does not remove that stated schedule.

Can it be used around children and pets? The product is described as safe for use around children and pets when used as directed. Follow the label directions rather than treating that statement as permission for unrestricted use.

Is it worth it?

It makes sense if you want a ready-to-use spray for treating rodent access points indoors or outdoors and are comfortable maintaining the application. It might not be a great match if you need a physical barrier or expect a guaranteed result: buyer feedback on effectiveness is divided, and the spray will not seal an opening. For a prevention routine, it offers a targeted essential-oil deterrent, for an active infestation, consider whether a more direct control method is also needed.
