TIPRE PS01-300 Shipping Scale, 660 lb Capacity, Stainless Steel Platform

For small businesses weighing outgoing packages, the TIPRE PS01-300 combines a large stainless steel platform with a separate backlit display. Its capacity and tare function also suit warehouse tasks or weighing luggage at home, while the display’s extendable cord can help keep the readout visible when a large item is on the platform.

The scale supports pounds, ounces, kilograms, and pounds-and-ounces, with accuracy that varies by load range. It can run on two AAA batteries or through a Type-C cable, the power adapter is not included.

Fit and sizing

The 13.5 x 11 x 1.3-inch platform provides room for packages and other items, and the stainless steel surface is easy to clean. At 2.21 kg, the scale is a substantial countertop-style tool rather than a small handheld luggage scale. For a reliable reading, the manufacturer recommends placing it on a hard, flat surface. The display is stored under the scale for transport, so take it out before weighing. Its separate screen can be held using the extendable cord or mounted using the two rear slots.

If you mainly need to weigh occasional small parcels, a compact scale may take up less space. This larger platform is more suited to varied package sizes and heavier loads.

Pros

Tare lets you zero out a container before weighing its contents, and hold keeps the reading on screen after the item is removed. Those functions are useful when packing a box or when a large parcel makes the display harder to see. The blue-backlit LCD is designed to remain readable in dim conditions, and auto shutoff activates after two minutes.

Buyer feedback describes the scale as useful and accurate, with some customers finding it more precise than a bathroom scale and mentioning that it handles large items. These are customer impressions, not a substitute for the stated accuracy ranges.

What to clarify

Does the scale show different units? Yes. You can switch among kilograms, ounces, pounds, and pounds-and-ounces.

Can you weigh an item inside a container? Yes. Use tare to zero the container’s weight before reading the contents’ net weight.

What do the display warnings mean? The product information says “LO” indicates low battery and “ERR” indicates overload.

Is it worth it?

A solid pick if you need one scale for packages across a wide weight range, value a larger platform, and expect to use tare or hold during packing. The separate display is also a practical advantage when a parcel blocks a screen mounted directly on the platform. Compared with a basic household scale, this model is specifically equipped for weighing parcels and includes multiple units and a stated dual-accuracy range.

Not the best choice if your work requires finer stated accuracy than 0.04 lb for lighter loads or 0.2 lb for heavier ones. The listed accuracy changes with the load, so choose based on the weights you expect to handle, depending on how you use it.
