## Description

Made from plastic, the Tiffcofio TF-1703 measures 1.77"D x 2.67"W x 3.54"H. Its mechanical 24-hour timer uses pins to set on and off periods, so you can schedule outdoor lighting without navigating a digital menu. Two grounded outlets provide connections for outdoor devices such as yard lights or a pool pump. The schedule repeats daily for a consistent routine.

## Getting the most from it
Set the timer by moving the pins for the times you want power on or off: push pins down for ON and pull them up for OFF. Each pin represents a 30-minute interval, with 48 setting options across the 24-hour cycle. Once set to timer mode, the outlet follows the schedule and repeats it each day. This straightforward dial-and-pin approach is useful when you want a recurring lighting schedule rather than a different program every day.

For outdoor use, the timer has two grounded outlets and a 6-inch heavy-duty dual cord. It can help manage seasonal Christmas lights, yard lighting, garden decorative lights, or other compatible home devices. For its weatherproof performance, mount it vertically at least 2 feet above the ground. That placement is especially practical near a garden or outdoor display where the timer needs to stay accessible while following the manufacturer's mounting guidance.

## Why it’s worth it
The TF-1703 brings a repeating schedule and two grounded outlets together in a compact plug-in timer. That makes it a practical fit for setting outdoor lights to follow the same daily pattern, while the pin controls keep programming direct and easy to see. Compared with a timer that relies on menu-based programming, this mechanical format lets you set the schedule by adjusting the pins on the dial.

Customers praise its straightforward setup and use for Christmas lights, with some noting that the controls are easy to read and program. Feedback on quality is mixed, and some buyers report reliability problems. The documented daily-repeat schedule and clear pin settings make the product’s intended use easy to understand when choosing a mechanical timer for outdoor lighting or other compatible equipment.

## Practical questions
**How do I set the on and off times?** Push the pins down for periods when the connected device should be on, and pull them up for off periods. Each pin corresponds to a 30-minute interval.

**Does the schedule repeat automatically?** Yes. The mechanical timer repeats its 24-hour schedule daily, making it suitable for a recurring lighting routine.

**How should I mount it outdoors?** Mount the timer vertically at least 2 feet above the ground to support its waterproof performance.

## When it makes sense
Choose the Tiffcofio TF-1703 when you want a simple, repeating mechanical schedule for outdoor lights or another compatible device, with two grounded outlets available at the timer. Its 30-minute pin intervals offer a clear way to shape a daily routine, making it especially useful for recurring yard or seasonal lighting setups.
