## Description

A sign for a changing menu calls for room to update messages, while an event display may need a consistent look from both sides. This freestanding A-frame chalkboard supports both needs with a writable, magnetic surface on each side.

Use it to show specials, promotions, announcements, or event details in a restaurant, café, bar, office, or at a celebration. Its black finish and pine wood frame give the display a classic chalkboard look.

The set includes liquid chalk markers, magnets, and a cleaning cloth, so you can create a display and attach notices without sourcing those basics separately.

## Tips for day-to-day use

Write with regular chalk or liquid chalk markers, then wipe the board with a damp cloth to change the message. Having two writing sides lets you prepare separate content—for example, a daily menu on one side and a promotion on the other—or make the sign readable from different approaches. Magnets offer another way to attach notes or other paper notices to the magnetic surface.

When the display is not in use, the stand folds for storage. Its chain design helps guide opening and folding, while metal hinges connect the frame. For a restaurant entrance, you could use one side for the lunch menu and the other for a current special, at a wedding or party, the same format can present welcome details and event directions.

## What stands out

The 40 x 20-inch board combines a double-sided, magnetic chalkboard with a freestanding A-frame, making it useful when a message needs to be visible without mounting a sign to a wall. Its surface is made from lacquered steel plate and high-density fiberboard, and the pine wood frame adds a traditional finish. The board is listed as stain resistant and works with both regular chalk and liquid chalk markers.

The included set has eight liquid chalk markers, eight magnets, and a cleaning cloth. That gives you options for writing in marker or chalk and displaying magnetic notices alongside the main message. Customer feedback frequently highlights the appearance, versatility, and ease of cleaning. Opinions on durability and construction are mixed: some customers describe it as sturdy and well made, while others report breakage or issues with the chain.

## Is it worth it?

For a business that updates specials or promotions, the two-sided format gives one freestanding sign room for more than one message. For an event host, it can serve as a welcome sign, menu display, or announcement board, with the markers and magnets ready for different kinds of content. Choose it when you want a reusable chalkboard display with a classic wood frame and a foldable stand, rather than a fixed sign dedicated to one message.
