THIODOON LED golf balls, 6-pack

Getting the most from it

For a casual round after sunset or a few shots in the yard when daylight is gone, these THIODOON LED golf balls make the ball easier to spot by adding a bright glow. The set includes six balls in six colors, so players can tell their ball apart during a group game.

Click a ball to start its light, then use the glow to follow it after a shot. The light stays on for 8 to 10 minutes per click, and clicking again resets the timer. That makes the timer useful for a short stretch of play, though you’ll need to reactivate the ball as needed rather than expect one click to keep it lit indefinitely. The battery is listed as lasting more than 40 hours in total.

Picture a night game where each player chooses a different color before teeing off: the color and LED help distinguish balls in the dim, while the usual challenge of judging a shot in low light remains. If you prioritize visibility and a more playful nighttime round, these have a clear purpose, if you prefer the familiar feel and setup of an ordinary golf ball for daytime play, a standard set is the simpler choice.

Why it’s worth it

The main benefit is practical: a glowing ball is easier to find than a conventional one when the ground is dark. The six-color assortment also suits a small group or makes the set more varied as a golf gift. The balls are made from elastic polyester, and the listing says they can still be used for practice after the battery runs out. From the way it is set up, the appeal is as much about making night golf easier to follow as it is about having a novelty item.

One limitation matters for buyers focused on performance: the product description claims a 90% to 95% distance increase compared with similar glow golf balls, but it does not provide test conditions or explain how that comparison was measured. Treat that figure as a listing claim, not a dependable prediction of your own shots. These are best judged for their lighting feature, not as a proven distance upgrade over regular balls.

You’ll appreciate it if you want a colorful set for occasional night play, practice, or a golf-themed gift. It may not suit you if you need detailed performance specifications or want a ball whose light stays on continuously without another click.

At a glance

• Set: Six LED golf balls in six colors
• Light: Continuous glow for 8 to 10 minutes after a click, the timer resets when clicked again
• Battery: Listed life of more than 40 hours
• Material: Elastic polyester
• After the battery runs out: The balls can be used for practice as regular golf balls, according to the description

The description does not provide dimensions or other play-performance details, so golfers choosing by specific ball specifications will have less to go on here. The useful distinction is straightforward: compared with buying ordinary balls for daylight rounds, this set prioritizes visibility and fun after dark, with less detail for players choosing around measured flight or feel.

Final verdict

Choose the THIODOON set if the goal is to make a casual night game easier to follow and you like having six distinct colors ready to hand out. Its timed glow and reset-by-click operation are worth factoring into how you plan a round, the light is not described as staying on indefinitely from a single activation. For serious play where verified distance, feel, or other detailed specifications matter more than seeing the ball at night, the available product information does not establish that these are the right fit.
