## Description

At 4.92"L x 5.31"W x 6.46"H, the Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 Vision MAX ARGB White is a dual-tower air cooler with a distinctive built-in display for a desktop PC build.

Its magnetic top cover houses a 5-inch IPS screen with 480x854 resolution. Use the display to monitor system parameters in real time, or customize its background themes through TRCC software.

If your priority is a straightforward heatsink, a conventional air cooler may suit that build. This model combines air cooling with an on-cooler screen and adjustable ARGB lighting for a more personalized setup.

## Key specifications

- Type: Dual-tower CPU air cooler
- Heat pipes: Six copper heat pipes with a nickel-plated copper base
- Display: 5-inch IPS, 480x854 resolution, magnetic top cover
- Fans: Two 120x120x25mm fans with S-FDB V2 bearings
- Fan speed: 2,150 RPM ±10%
- Airflow: 69 CFM
- Operating noise: ≤27 dB(A)
- Connectors: 4-pin PWM fan and 5V 3-pin ARGB
- Compatibility: AMD AM4 and AM5, Intel LGA1851, 1700, 1150, 1151, 1155, 1156, and 1200

The dual-tower layout pairs the two fans with six heat pipes to move heat away from the CPU. The 69 CFM airflow and stated operating noise provide practical reference points when comparing air-cooling configurations. With PWM and ARGB connections, the fans can connect to compatible motherboard headers for speed control and lighting. The display’s IPS panel is designed for stable viewing angles, while its magnetic cover makes setup and removal straightforward without screws.

## Best use cases

This cooler suits desktop builds where air cooling and at-a-glance system information are both priorities. The screen can show system parameters while the PC is in use, and its customizable background themes let builders coordinate the display with a preferred setup style. Adjustable ARGB lighting on both sides of the screen adds another way to tailor the look of a white PC build.

The supported AMD and Intel socket list makes the cooler relevant for a range of desktop platforms. For a new build, match the socket to the motherboard before installation. On AMD platforms, installation uses the motherboard’s original backplate, the cooler’s mounting kits are provided for the supported platforms. Follow the included instructions to fit the hardware correctly.

## Box contents

The package includes the CPU cooler and mounting kits for AMD and Intel platforms. For an AMD installation, keep the motherboard’s original backplate available. The magnetic screen cover attaches without screws, making it easier to remove when setting up or accessing the display.

## Final verdict

Choose the Peerless Assassin 120 Vision MAX ARGB White when you want a dual-tower air cooler that adds more than a heatsink to the build: its 5-inch IPS display offers real-time system monitoring and customizable themes, while the two-fan design, six heat pipes, and broad socket support provide the core features for a compatible desktop setup. It’s a particularly useful fit for builders who want cooling, system information, and adjustable ARGB in one component.
