The Good Stuff TGS FIREBAG Fire-Resistant Document Bag, 15 x 11 in, 2000°F

If you mainly need a place to keep paperwork together, a simple folder may be enough. If you also want a dedicated layer of fire and water resistance for important records, the The Good Stuff TGS FIREBAG is designed for that purpose. Its legal-size format gives documents, cash, and other essentials one portable place. Keep it in a drawer, safe, or bag at home, work, or while traveling.

Everyday use

Use the 15 x 11 in bag to organize legal papers, birth certificates, contracts, passports, cash, and bank cards. The single-compartment layout keeps these items together, so they’re easier to store or gather when needed. Its loop handle and shoulder strap offer carrying options, while the compact design can fit into a safe, drawer, or larger bag. For a household document set, for example, keep key records and cash in the same bag rather than spreading them across separate storage spots.

The dual-layer, silicone-coated fiberglass construction is rated to withstand temperatures up to 2000°F, and its silicone coating provides water-resistant protection. That combination makes this a practical choice for people who want a document bag with protective features as well as everyday storage. It is water-resistant, not described as waterproof, so use it with that distinction in mind.

Why it’s worth it

The value here is having important papers and small valuables grouped in one dedicated bag, with fire and water resistance built into its construction. A zipper and hook-and-loop closure help keep contents enclosed. Buyers often highlight the roomy feel, sturdy construction, and closure, including the fold-over hook-and-loop flap that holds the zipper area in place. Those impressions can help set expectations for everyday handling, the stated protection comes from the product’s material and rating.

Compared with choosing storage only for organization, this bag adds a protective layer for records you may want to keep together and accessible. It suits a home file set, documents kept alongside valuables in a safe, or essential papers packed for travel.

What does the 2000°F rating mean? The bag’s dual-layer, silicone-coated fiberglass construction is rated to withstand temperatures up to 2000°F. The rating describes the material’s stated temperature resistance, not a guarantee that contents will be unharmed in every fire.
