## Description

For viewers drawn to horror stories built around kidnappings, murder, and an ancient evil, Terror Of The Master brings a small-city mystery to DVD. Part-time TV reporter Drew Thompson sees a string of kidnappings as a chance to advance her career. When she investigates, the story turns personal—and her sister Amelia may be among the few people who can help. Choose this plot-led mystery when you want a story to follow, its added commentary and short film also give you extras to explore after the feature.

## Usage tips

Set aside the film’s 1 hour and 15 minutes for a focused viewing. The story moves from Drew’s investigation of sensational kidnapping cases to a remote location where she faces the forces behind them. That progression makes the central mystery easy to follow: a reporter pursues a potential career-making story, then becomes the next target herself. Amelia and others follow her to an isolated place, where the sisters’ situation comes to a head.

The film is presented as a lost shot-on-video title that had not been released before. That background may appeal to viewers specifically seeking this kind of horror release, rather than a contemporary thriller built around a different visual style. If you enjoy discussing how a story unfolds, the included commentary offers an additional way to engage with the feature. English captions are also listed among the bonus features.

## What you’ll notice day to day

The premise gives the film a clear starting point: Drew has a professional reason to investigate the kidnappings, but a chance encounter with a would-be victim turns the assignment into a direct threat. The danger escalates from cases in the sisters’ city to a remote setting, connecting the mystery to Drew and Amelia’s personal stakes. That combination makes the film suited to a horror night when you want a suspenseful plot to follow, not just a collection of unrelated scares.

The extras add variety to a viewing session. Alongside the feature, the disc lists SRS trailers, a trailer, the bonus short “Of Theatre and Bikinis,” commentary, and English captions. Viewers who prefer to keep a movie night centered on the main story can focus on the feature, those who like exploring additional material have several listed extras to choose from. It suits you if you’re looking for a compact horror feature with a kidnapping mystery, a sister-focused story, and bonus material on DVD.

## Is it worth it?

Terror Of The Master is a fitting pick for viewers seeking a concise horror mystery that links sensational kidnappings to an ancient evil and keeps two sisters close to the heart of the danger.
