TERENCE V50 Upgrade 88-Key Weighted Digital Piano with 30W Speaker

Choosing a keyboard for lessons and daily practice is different from choosing one mainly to move between rooms or take on the go. The TERENCE V50 Upgrade combines a full 88-key layout with a foldable design.

Its weighted keys and adjustable touch sensitivity give beginners room to explore different playing responses, while Bluetooth MIDI and USB provide ways to connect with other devices.

The rechargeable design is useful for flexible placement, but the product information does not specify battery life. That matters if you need to plan longer practice sessions away from power.

Worth noting

The V50 has 88 weighted keys and three touch-sensitivity settings: light, medium, and heavy. That gives players a choice in how responsive the keys feel, rather than locking practice into one setting. The product is presented for beginners, but the full keyboard layout may also suit adults who want a single instrument for learning and regular practice.

A built-in 30W speaker handles listening without separate speakers, and the 3.5 mm headphone jack offers a way to practice privately. Preset tones and rhythms add options beyond a basic piano sound. The touch-sensitive mirror panel is used to control the instrument, and spatial audio is described as simulating different environments.

Bluetooth MIDI and USB connectivity are relevant if you want to connect the keyboard to a phone, tablet, or computer. The listing also describes phone recording, which may be useful for capturing practice ideas. Included components are a power adapter, USB cable, and music stand. The stated size is 90 x 30 x 30 cm, no folded dimensions are provided, so that measurement alone does not show how much storage space it needs when folded. A six-month warranty is listed.

How to use it

For a home practice setup, place the keyboard on a suitable surface, attach the music stand, and use the built-in speaker for regular playing. Headphones are an alternative when you want to keep the sound to yourself. The foldable construction is intended to make storage and transport easier than with a fixed keyboard, which may appeal in a smaller living space or when moving the instrument between lessons and home.

For app-based learning or recording, connect through Bluetooth MIDI or USB and use a compatible device. The available information names learning and music-making apps as examples, but does not specify a full compatibility list. It suits you if you want weighted keys, built-in sound, and device connectivity in one portable instrument. It might not be a great match if you need a confirmed battery runtime before choosing, none is stated.

Who it’s for

This digital piano is aimed at beginners and adults who want a full-size key layout for practice, with features that can support both standalone playing and connected use. The adjustable touch response offers a way to change the feel as playing preferences develop. Its foldable format is a practical distinction from a more permanent home keyboard, while the speaker and headphone jack cover two common practice settings without requiring external audio equipment.

It may also suit someone looking for a keyboard that can be stored between sessions or brought to lessons. For a demanding performance setup, the listing does not give details such as folded size, battery runtime, or a fuller specification of the sounds and connections. Those omissions make it harder to assess how well it fits a specific venue or workflow.

Should you buy it?

The TERENCE V50 makes sense if your priorities are 88 weighted keys, a built-in 30W speaker, foldability, and Bluetooth MIDI or USB connectivity. Those features bring learning, practice, and basic recording use together in one instrument, with the included stand, cable, and power adapter helping establish a straightforward setup.

Choose it over a simpler keyboard when weighted keys and app connectivity are important to your practice. A fixed instrument may be a better fit if portability is not useful and your decision depends on precise space requirements or a confirmed battery runtime. For this type of use, the key question is whether its listed features match your practice setup, since those missing details are not supplied.
