## Description

## Technical overview

Insulated double-layer PE and PP panels help separate the shelter’s interior from outside air, while the heated core adds warmth for cats spending time outdoors. A waterproof canopy, transparent PVC door curtain, and clear top cover help keep rain out, and the elevated design helps keep the shelter off wet ground.

The gray shelter measures 25.6"L x 17"W x 17.8"H and weighs 14 pounds. Its transparent magnetic escape door is designed as an exit-only route, so a cat can see outside and leave if startled. The maker says the space fits a mother cat with kittens or two adult cats.

## Getting the most from it

The heating wires are UL-tested. For even heat distribution, keep the heating pad flat and free of wrinkles. The top opens for access to the interior, making it easier to clean the shelter. Assembly takes less than 60 seconds, uses no tools, and comes with illustrated instructions.

For a compact outdoor setup, the shelter can stand on its feet, removing the feet allows units to be stacked securely. That gives barn, garage, or other outdoor spaces a way to use vertical storage while keeping a dedicated shelter available for cats. Buyers often praise the straightforward assembly, roomy interior, and warmth. Feedback on the heating pad and durability is mixed, with some buyers reporting early heating-pad problems or zipper breakage.

## Best use cases

This shelter is designed for outdoor, community, stray, and feral cats. Its insulated panels, heated core, and rain-shedding features suit a sheltered spot in a barn or garage, or another outdoor area where cats need a covered place to rest. The escape door is especially relevant for timid cats that may feel uneasy in an enclosed space: it provides a visible route out rather than leaving them dependent on a single opening.

Compared with a basic unheated outdoor cat shelter, this model combines insulation with a heating core and an escape door. It is a practical choice when warmth, weather protection, and a clear exit are priorities in the same shelter. Place the heating pad flat inside so heat is distributed as intended.

## What to clarify

**How does the heating work?** The shelter includes heating wires in its heating core. Keep the pad flat and wrinkle-free for even heat distribution.

**Can a cat leave through the safety door?** Yes. The transparent magnetic door is designed as an exit-only escape route, allowing cats to get out if they feel threatened.

**Can the shelter be stacked?** Yes. Remove the stand feet to stack two or more units securely, as directed by the product details.

## Final verdict

For outdoor cat care, the Tepoal shelter brings together insulation, a heated core, weather protection, and an exit route in one raised, stackable design. It suits caregivers who want a dedicated resting place for feral or community cats, with practical access for cleaning and a layout designed to accommodate two adult cats or a mother cat and her kittens.
