## Description

## Best use cases

For households that want more than a traditional key or keypad, the TEEHO TE012W combines fingerprint, passcode, app, voice, and backup-key access in one WiFi deadbolt. Use the KK Home app to manage users, share codes, adjust settings, and unlock remotely, built-in WiFi connects directly to a 2.4GHz network without a hub.

It suits front, side, and back doors, as well as offices and rental properties. What if different people need different ways to enter? Fingerprint access supports up to 20 users, while the lock can store up to 100 passcodes.

## Pros

Choose fingerprint access for a quick entry method, a passcode when sharing access, or one of the two included keys as a backup. Alexa and Google Assistant compatibility adds voice control, while the app supports access management and remote unlocking. Its matte black finish and backlit keypad are practical details for an entry door, including when keypad visibility matters in low light.

For day-to-day routines, one-touch locking lets you secure the door from the keypad, and adjustable auto-lock timing can be set in the app. The anti-peeping password feature lets users enter extra numbers before or after the correct code. The product also has break-in detection: after 10 consecutive incorrect PIN attempts, it locks for 3 minutes and sends an app alert.

Buyer feedback often praises fingerprint recognition, code programming, and auto-lock. Some purchasers also report frequent battery replacement and mixed experiences reconnecting to WiFi, security feedback includes reports of being locked out. These experiences are useful context when choosing between a multi-access smart lock and a simpler keyed or keypad-only deadbolt.

## Is it worth it?

Worth considering if you want app-managed entry with several ways to unlock, rather than relying on a single key or PIN. A practical setup is to assign fingerprints to regular household users and use passcodes for other access needs, then manage settings through the app. The 2.4GHz WiFi requirement and listed door-hole and backset sizes are useful installation checks before choosing it. For a front, side, or back door where remote control, fingerprint entry, and backup keys all have a role, the TE012W brings those access options together in a matte black deadbolt.
