TCCVANAS Kids Helmet Set, ABS Shell
Product description
A helmet that fits poorly or a missing set of pads can make getting ready for a ride harder than it needs to be. This TCCVANAS set pairs an adjustable kids’ helmet with knee, elbow, and wrist guards for activities such as biking, skating, and scooter riding.
The helmet has a dial adjustment and a chin strap to help tailor the fit. The key is to choose by head circumference, not age alone.
Key specifications
The helmet combines an ABS shell with shock-absorbing foam, a soft lining, and 11 ventilation holes. Those vents are intended to help reduce heat and sweat during active play, while the lining adds a comfort layer against the head. The listing describes the helmet and pads as lightweight, but gives no weight measurement.
Two adjustment ranges are listed: 48–54 cm and 54–58 cm. A rear dial changes the helmet’s fit, and the chin strap can be adjusted separately. The age labels in the product name cover 3–5, 5–8, and 8–14 years, but children in the same age group can have different head sizes. Measure your child’s head and compare it with the stated range, choosing by age without that measurement may lead to a poor fit.
One limitation to keep in mind: the product details do not name a safety certification. If you specifically require a helmet certified to a particular standard, that information is not provided here.
Who it’s for
This set is aimed at families who want one bundle for a child’s first bike rides, scooter sessions, or time on skates or a skateboard. For example, a parent can get the helmet and pads ready together before a trip to the park instead of assembling protective gear from separate purchases. It suits you if the listed head-size ranges match your child and you want wrist, elbow, and knee coverage included.
It might not be a great match if your child’s head circumference falls outside those ranges, or if you’re shopping for a helmet with a stated certification or a more specialized fit. The set’s broad activity list is useful for casual, varied outdoor play, a child focused on one demanding sport may need gear selected specifically for that activity.
In the box
The package is listed as including one kids’ helmet, two knee pads, two elbow pads, two wrist guards, and a storage bag. That gives you a coordinated set of protective pieces to bring along for a ride or skating outing. The listing does not specify pad sizing or adjustment details, so fit for the guards is harder to assess in advance than the helmet fit.
Practical doubts
How do you choose between the helmet sizes? Compare your child’s head circumference with the listed ranges of 48–54 cm and 54–58 cm, then use the dial and chin strap to adjust the fit. The age bands alone aren’t a substitute for measuring.
Does the set include wrist protection? Yes. It includes a pair of wrist guards, along with knee and elbow pads.
Can the helmet be used for scooter rides as well as biking? The product description lists scooters, cycling, skateboarding, and inline skating among its intended activities. It does not provide separate fit or safety guidance for each sport.
Final verdict
This is a practical bundle to consider when you want a child’s adjustable helmet and several kinds of pads in one package, especially for mixed recreational activities. The listed fit ranges and included wrist guards make the buying decision more specific than choosing a helmet alone. Skip it if the head-size ranges don’t fit, or if a named safety certification is essential to your choice, the supplied details don’t establish either a broader fit or a particular certification.
