TAMHOO 15-Piece Retractable Badge Reel Set for Nurses and ID Badges
Product description
Clip one to a scrub pocket or shirt before a shift, then pull the ID forward when it needs to be shown. The TAMHOO set includes 15 retractable badge reels in different designs, giving you several styles to rotate or share.
Each reel uses a stretchable nylon cord that extends up to 60 cm and rotates 360 degrees. The reels are made of plastic, with a clip and snap strap for attaching and securing an ID badge.
Compared with a basic fixed lanyard, a retractable reel lets the badge move outward while remaining attached to clothing. That setup may suit nurses, students, office workers, teachers, volunteers, and other staff who wear an ID regularly.
Getting the most from it
Attach a reel to a pocket, shirt, or another suitable spot on your clothing, then connect the ID using the snap strap. The cord’s reach of up to 60 cm can help bring a badge forward for viewing or scanning without taking the reel off. Its 360-degree rotation gives the badge room to turn, and the listing notes that the design works with horizontal badge holders.
With 15 different reels in the set, you can switch designs between workdays or keep extras available to share. The cute, colorful look is part of the appeal, but the practical decision is whether you prefer a retractable clip over a lanyard that hangs freely around the neck.
Why it’s worth it
The main draw is having multiple badge reels in one set, rather than buying a single design. That can be useful for someone who wants variety or is assembling small gifts for coworkers or nursing students. Buyers also describe the designs as cute and fun, and some say the reels work well for everyday use.
Feedback is less consistent on durability and clip hold. Some buyers say the reels stay on uniforms and hold up, while others report breakage or slipping. If reliable retention is more important than design variety, those mixed experiences are worth weighing before choosing this set. Worth considering if you want a colorful assortment for routine ID wear and are comfortable with some uncertainty in buyer feedback.
Key takeaways
This is a 15-piece plastic badge reel set with retractable nylon cords, a stated extension of up to 60 cm, and 360-degree rotation. It’s intended for IDs worn by nurses and other workers, as well as students and volunteers. The set emphasizes variety and a cute style rather than a single understated reel. It’s not for you if consistent clip retention and durability are essential, since buyers report mixed results on both.
