## Description

Choosing fasteners for a repair is easier when the kit covers more than one screw length. The Taiss machine screw assortment brings several SAE sizes together with matching nuts and washers for a range of small assembly and maintenance tasks.

The Phillips pan-head screws are made from 304 stainless steel, with corrosion-resistant properties for practical use around the home, workshop, and DIY projects.

Instead of stocking only one screw size, you can keep commonly used #6-32, #8-32, and #10-24 options together in a transparent storage box. What does that mean for a repair? You can select a listed size and its matching hardware from the same kit.

## What to know

This 237-piece assortment includes eight screw sizes: #6-32 x 1/4" and #6-32 x 1/2", #8-32 x 3/8", #8-32 x 1/2", #8-32 x 5/8", and #8-32 x 1", and #10-24 x 3/4" and #10-24 x 1". Nuts and washers are provided in a 1:1:1 matching combination with the bolts, making it straightforward to gather the components for a fastening job.

Each screw has a Phillips drive and pan head. The 304 stainless steel construction is described as rust-, water-, corrosion-, and oxidation-resistant, with a smooth, burr-free finish. These qualities make the assortment useful for routine repairs and projects where keeping a selection of sturdy fasteners on hand is more practical than buying one size at a time.

The kit is intended for manual DIY work and replacement fasteners in applications such as toys, bicycles, cars, electrical appliances, furniture, wallboard, sockets, and some instruments and equipment. Match the thread size and screw length to the part being fastened before installation. The transparent box keeps the assortment together and makes the contents easier to access and carry between work areas.

## Best use cases

Keep the kit with household repair supplies for jobs that call for machine screws and matching nuts and washers. For example, during furniture maintenance or a bicycle repair, the range of thread sizes and lengths gives you several listed options to choose from without relying on a single-size supply. It can also support hands-on DIY projects where Phillips pan-head fasteners are appropriate.

The assortment is a useful alternative to purchasing only one screw size when the repair or project may call for different lengths or thread sizes. Its organized box helps keep those options in one place between tasks.

## Who it’s for

This kit suits DIYers, home maintenance users, and anyone who regularly replaces or sorts machine screws for small repairs. It is especially relevant when the work may involve #6-32, #8-32, or #10-24 fasteners and benefits from having matching nuts and washers available together. A solid pick if you want a compact assortment for a workbench, toolbox, or general repair supplies.

## Is it worth it?

The main benefit is having eight screw sizes, 304 stainless steel construction, and corresponding nuts and washers in one organized kit. That combination is useful for people handling varied manual projects or recurring maintenance, where the right fastener can depend on the joint being repaired. If your work includes the listed thread sizes, this assortment offers a practical way to keep the screws and their matching hardware close at hand.
