## Description

Some DMX setups need to connect XLR equipment to an RJ45 cable path, others are built around XLR connections from end to end. This two-piece SYCZIOHU adapter set is made for the first setup. It converts a 3-pin male XLR connection to a female RJ45 connection for use with the DMX-CON controller series.

## Usage tips

Connect the male XLR end to the corresponding XLR connection, then attach a CAT-5 Ethernet cable to the female RJ45 socket to carry DMX512 signal. The adapter is 32 CM / 12.6 Inch long, giving you a short conversion point at the equipment rather than a long cable run made from the adapter itself. Its self-locking, anti-drop design helps keep the plug from loosening during use, while the plug-and-play format keeps setup straightforward.

The PVC shell and nickel-plated connector suit repeated handling around audio and lighting gear. With two adapters in the package, you can keep a matching connector available for the other end of a CAT-5 cable run when your configuration calls for it. For a setup that already uses XLR connections throughout, an XLR-to-RJ45 conversion may not be needed, this set is intended for installations that need that connector change.

## Where it shines

This adapter is designed for signal connections in DMX-CON controller arrangements, including use with power amplifiers, mixers, KTV equipment, and LED RGB light strips. It lets a CAT-5 Ethernet cable serve as a DMX512 cable, which can be useful when the equipment’s connection points call for XLR on one side and RJ45 on the other. The male-to-female format makes the direction of the conversion clear: connect the 3-pin male XLR side to the matching XLR connection and use the female RJ45 socket for the network cable.

For example, when arranging a DMX-CON-controlled lighting setup, the adapters provide the XLR-to-RJ45 transition needed to route the signal over CAT-5. They are also relevant to audio transmission setups using the listed amplifier or mixer equipment. Choosing this format is about matching the connection types and cable path in your installation, rather than replacing an all-XLR connection arrangement.

## Quick overview

Each cable combines a 3-pin male XLR connector with a female RJ45 connector. The set contains two black adapters, each 32 CM / 12.6 Inch long, with a PVC shell and nickel-plated connector. The plug-and-play design and self-locking, anti-drop feature support a secure, convenient connection when setting up or repositioning compatible equipment. The intended use is XLR-to-RJ45 conversion for DMX-CON controller series applications, including DMX512 signal transmission over CAT-5 Ethernet cable.

## When it makes sense

A solid pick if your installation needs to bridge XLR connections and CAT-5 cable for DMX-CON control, or if you are arranging audio or lighting equipment with the listed XLR-to-RJ45 connection format. The two-adapter set is especially practical when a matching conversion point is needed at both ends of a cable path. Its short 32 CM / 12.6 Inch length keeps the connector transition close to the equipment, while the locking design helps the plug stay seated during setup and use.
