Syantek BHC1801-3 Wireless Remote Outlet Kit, 3 Outlets, 100-Foot RF Range

The compact ABS plug-in outlets in the Syantek BHC1801-3 kit let you switch connected household devices on or off with a handheld remote. The set includes three outlets and one remote, giving you separate plug-in points to place around a room or use for several lighting and appliance setups.

Its RF remote is designed for indoor use and can control outlets from up to 100 feet away in a clear line of sight. The signal is also described as working through doors, walls, and windows, so you can operate a connected device without reaching for its plug.

Who it’s for

This kit suits anyone who wants remote on/off control for devices such as lamps, fans, a coffee pot, sound systems, holiday decorations, or charging equipment. It can be especially practical when an outlet is behind furniture or when you want to switch a light from across the room. The outlets are designed to use one wall socket each, leaving the neighboring socket available for another plug.

It’s a great fit if you prefer a handheld control over app-based or voice control. The remote uses an RF signal, and the outlets can be custom-programmed so one remote operates all of them, the same outlet can also be controlled by more than one remote.

Benefits

The remote adds a simple on/off option to compatible plugged-in devices without requiring you to reach the outlet each time. For example, a lamp near a seating area can be switched from across the room, while the other outlets can be assigned to additional lights or decorations. This makes the three-outlet set useful when you want to control several points from one handheld remote.

Buyers commonly praise the ease of use, convenience, and ability to control multiple lights with one remote. Some mention using the outlets for Christmas tree and other decorations. Feedback about pairing is mixed, however, and some buyers report that units stopped working within two weeks. These are reported experiences rather than a guarantee of how an individual unit will perform.
