## Description

Switch on holiday lights, a floor lamp, or a fan from across the room with the Syantek BHC1801-5-2 wireless outlet kit. It includes five plug-in outlets and two handheld remotes. The RF signal is rated for up to 100 feet. Choose a physical remote for everyday control, or look to app-based systems if phone control is your priority.

## Usage tips

Plug each outlet into a wall receptacle, then connect the household device you want to control. The set is designed for indoor use with appliances such as lamps, fans, sound systems, and holiday decorations. It can be especially useful when a switch is hard to reach, or when several decorative lights are spread across a room. Instead of walking to each connected device, use the remote to switch it on or off.

The outlets and remotes can be custom programmed: one remote can control all the outlets, and an outlet can be controlled by more than one remote. That gives you flexibility when setting up multiple lights or arranging control around a shared space. For example, holiday decorations in different parts of a room can be connected to separate outlets and operated from a handheld remote. The stated RF range is up to 100 feet, and the signal is described as working through doors, walls, and windows.

## What you’ll notice day to day

Each compact outlet takes up one wall socket, helping preserve nearby socket space. The included two remotes give you another way to manage connected devices without relying on a phone or Wi-Fi app. This can suit a classroom, living room, or bedroom where a straightforward on/off control is useful, including for people who prefer not to reach for a device’s own switch.

After a power interruption, the socket remains off. That behavior can be useful for connected lights and decorations when power returns, since they won’t automatically switch back on. The system’s simple remote-based approach is a practical alternative to smart plugs when the main goal is direct handheld control rather than app features.

Customer feedback often highlights easy setup and the convenience of controlling multiple items with a remote, with classroom and holiday lighting mentioned as useful applications. Feedback on durability is mixed, including reports from some customers of units failing within a month, so experiences vary.

## Worth noting

The set includes five outlets, two remote controllers, two 12 V (23 A) alkaline, non-rechargeable batteries, and a user manual. The outlets are FCC certified and ETL listed. Use the included remotes to operate the programmed outlets, and keep the set’s indoor application in mind when choosing where to install it.

## Buying verdict

For someone outfitting several indoor lights or small household devices, this kit brings five remote-controlled outlets and two handheld controls together in one set. Its programmable control offers flexibility across rooms or shared spaces, while the compact plug-in design and stated 100-foot RF range support convenient operation from a distance. It’s a useful fit when simple remote switching—not app-based control—is the feature that matters most.
