## Description

This self-cleaning slicker brush makes detangling and reducing loose fur easier for both dogs and cats, especially those with long or short coats. It combines a soft, skin-friendly head and an ergonomic TPR handle to help pet owners groom without strain while minimizing pulling on the animal during sessions.

## Key Points

The brush uses soft rounded plastic tips on the pins to protect skin and create a comfortable brushing sensation while removing tangles and loose hair. It includes a bottom release mechanism that pushes fur off the bristles with a single press, turning clean-up into a quick step rather than a tedious task. For households with multiple types of pets this tool works on dogs, cats, puppies, kittens and even small furry animals like rabbits, and it is noted to be effective on both shedding and haired coats. The compact design and stainless metal construction aim to provide durability for repeated use, and the lightweight handle improves control during longer grooming sessions. **Swihauk Self Cleaning Slicker Brush** is available in blue and comes with simple pet supplies accessories for routine maintenance. 🐾

## Usage Recommendations

Brush in the direction of hair growth using gentle, short strokes to remove loose undercoat and surface hair while avoiding excessive pressure. For tangled areas start at the ends and work upward in small sections to prevent discomfort, and pause if the pet shows signs of irritation. Use the release button periodically during a session to clear accumulated hair from the bristles and maintain brushing efficiency. Consider that for very thick or severely matted coats a de-matting tool or professional grooming may be necessary, because a slicker brush is most effective on loose hair and light tangles rather than dense mats. 🐶🐱
