SwaddleDesigns Fitted Crib Sheet, Cotton Muslin

Parents setting up a standard crib who want a soft, breathable cotton surface may appreciate the straightforward design of this SwaddleDesigns fitted sheet. It is made from cotton muslin and pre-washed for softness, with elastic around the entire bottom edge to help hold it in place. The Peach Blush color adds a muted accent to a nursery, and the sheet is described as suitable for boys and girls. Its fit is specific, though: the listed mattress dimensions matter when choosing it.

Highlights

The appeal here is practical rather than feature-heavy. Cotton muslin is the main material, and the pre-washing is intended to give the sheet a softer feel from the start. The fabric is also described as breathable, which may help reduce the risk of overheating, that is a material benefit, not a promise that temperature will be controlled in every sleep environment.

Elastic runs around the full bottom edge instead of being limited to a few corners. That design is meant to create a snug fit, useful when making the crib after a sheet change or smoothing the surface before bedtime. A solid pick if you want a fitted cotton muslin sheet in Peach Blush without extra features to sort through. It might not be a great match if you need a different material, color, or a fit for a mattress outside the stated dimensions.

Fit and sizing

The sheet is sized for a standard U.S. crib mattress measuring 28 x 52 x 6 inches. Keep in mind that the listing gives this specific mattress size, not a broader range or a separate fit for other crib dimensions. If your mattress is an unusual size or has a different depth, the provided details do not say how much stretch is available without that measurement.

The full-perimeter elastic is intended to help the sheet stay snug, but the listed dimensions are the clearest guide to fit. Before choosing it, compare your mattress measurements with the stated size rather than relying only on the phrase “standard crib mattress.”

Tips for day-to-day use

This sheet suits a simple nursery setup: fit it over the mattress, smooth the surface, and pair its Peach Blush shade with other baby essentials. The product description says it coordinates with a variety of those items, but it does not identify specific matching pieces. For a more neutral look, the color can also serve as a soft accent rather than the main nursery theme.

One practical distinction is that this is a fitted sheet, not a sheet set or a complete crib bedding bundle. If you are comparing it with a basic flat sheet, the fitted shape and all-around elastic are the relevant difference, if you are looking for multiple bedding pieces in one purchase, those are not listed here. Care instructions are not provided, so check the product label for washing guidance rather than assuming a particular routine.

Before you decide

What material is the sheet made from? It is made from cotton muslin and is described as pre-washed for softness.

Is it listed for boys or girls? The product description presents it for both boys and girls, no child-specific feature is noted.

What color is Peach Blush? Peach Blush is the listed color. The description also says the sheet coordinates with a variety of baby essentials, without naming particular matching items.

Final verdict

Choose this sheet if your crib mattress matches the stated 28 x 52 x 6-inch size and you want cotton muslin, full-edge elastic, and a soft Peach Blush color in one fitted piece. Its breathable fabric and pre-washed feel may suit a simple everyday nursery setup. Skip it if the mattress dimensions differ, or if you need care details, another color, or a bundled bedding set before making your decision.
