## Description

This bundled dryer repair kit combines a drum bearing, front drum felt, drive belt, bearing slides, and an idler pulley. It is listed for select GE and Hotpoint dryer models. For a repair involving several of these components, the set brings the named parts together rather than requiring a separate search for each one.

## Size & fit

Compatibility is model-specific. The listed dryers include GE models such as DBXR463EB1WW, DBXR463EG1WW, GTDP280ED0WW, and DWSR483EB0WW, along with select models in the DB, GTD, DC, DHD, DW, and DX families and Hotpoint HTDX and HTDP models. Match your dryer's complete model number to the compatibility list before ordering, a family prefix alone does not establish fit.

The bearing kit also has a specific distinction worth noting when choosing a replacement: WE49X20697 includes the WE3M26 drum bearing, while WE49X21874 uses the WE14M124 drum bearing. If you're comparing a bundled repair set with buying only one component, this kit is suited to jobs where the listed bearing, belt, felt, slides, and pulley are the parts being addressed. Its listed repair symptoms include noise, drum rotation problems, and no or insufficient heat.

## Where it shines

The parts serve different points in the dryer's drum and drive system: the bearing supports the drum, the felt and slides are drum-related components, and the belt and idler pulley are part of the drive assembly. Having these components in one repair kit can make it easier to source the set for a repair that calls for more than a single replacement part. It also gives you the specific part numbers to compare against the parts identified for your dryer.

In practical use, a repair may begin with a dryer making noise or having trouble rotating its drum. The kit groups components associated with those symptoms, so you can select parts for the repair based on the dryer model and the component being serviced. The listing also identifies heating complaints among the symptoms addressed, diagnosis and correct installation remain important when working on a dryer.

## Final verdict

For owners servicing a compatible GE or Hotpoint dryer, this set offers a coordinated group of drum and drive components with their identifying part numbers clearly stated. It makes sense if your repair calls for multiple listed parts and the dryer’s exact model matches the compatibility information. The WE3M26 bearing identification is especially useful when distinguishing this kit from the WE49X21874 version.
