## Description

This 11 x 14-inch Sunwes floater frame is sized for gallery-wrapped canvas with a depth of 1 to 1.25 inches. Its light oak wood-look finish brings a warm, understated accent to the artwork.

A 5 mm gap between the canvas and frame creates the floating effect, leaving the canvas edges visible instead of covering them.

Made in the USA and hand-assembled, the frame is designed for wall display in a home, studio, office, or gallery.

## Benefits
The open space around the canvas gives a painting a distinct outline and adds depth to a wall display. It’s a useful alternative to a traditional frame that overlaps the artwork’s edges: the float gap keeps those edges in view while creating a defined border around the canvas. The matte light oak finish complements a range of settings, from a living room gallery wall to an artist’s studio.

The frame is designed for 1- to 1.25-inch-deep stretched canvas, making it suitable for standard, studio, or gallery-wrapped artwork in the 11 x 14-inch format. Its rectangular shape and horizontal orientation make it a natural fit for artwork displayed in landscape layout. A single opening keeps attention on one canvas rather than dividing the display across multiple pieces.

## The essentials
This is a wall-mounted canvas floater frame with a light oak wood-look finish. The frame is made in the USA, and the included components are D-ring hangers, screws, and wall hooks. Pre-drilled holes support assembly and hanging, while the floating gap helps center the canvas visually within the frame. Its intended use includes displaying artwork at home, in galleries, studios, and offices, as well as giving it to artists or for a housewarming.

Buyers often praise the frame’s appearance, fit, and sturdy feel. Feedback on the material is mixed, and some buyers would have preferred clearer setup directions. The frame’s wood-look finish offers the appearance of oak as a visual accent without making the artwork itself the focus of the frame.

## Usage tips
Match the frame to an 11 x 14-inch canvas that is 1 to 1.25 inches deep. During assembly, use the pre-drilled holes and included screws and D-ring hangers to position the canvas within the frame, the 5 mm gap is the feature that produces its floating look. The included wall hooks support wall display. For a balanced arrangement, consider how the horizontal orientation will sit alongside nearby artwork or furniture before hanging it.

## When it makes sense
Choose this frame when you want to show a gallery-wrapped canvas with its edges visible and give it a warm, light oak-style border. It suits a single painting for a home, studio, office, or gallery, and is especially relevant when the canvas matches the 11 x 14-inch format and specified depth. The floating presentation, wall-mount hardware, and wood-look finish make it a straightforward way to give canvas artwork a more defined place in a room.
