## Description

After a procedure or when a wound needs protection, a recovery cone can help keep a dog from licking or biting the area. This SUNFURA soft cone uses breathable mesh fabric rather than a rigid plastic design.

The Dark Blue L version has a hook-and-loop closure and an adjustable drawstring for adjusting the fit around the neck. Its listed neck size is 17.3 inches.

The product is promoted for large dogs, but the item details also list the dog breed size as Small. That makes the listed measurements more useful than the size label alone when deciding whether it will fit.

## How to use it
Place the cone around your dog’s neck and fasten the hook-and-loop closure. Adjust the built-in drawstring so the collar fits securely without being overly tight. The product is intended to help prevent licking or biting at wounds and incisions during recovery.

Before choosing this size, compare your dog’s neck measurement with the listed 17.3-inch neck size. The manufacturer also says the dog’s head should not be longer than the cone’s depth, but no depth measurement is provided in the product details. If that comparison matters for your dog, the available sizing information may not be enough to confirm the fit.

## Benefits
The soft mesh construction offers a fabric alternative to a hard plastic cone, and the hook-and-loop closure is designed to make putting it on and taking it off straightforward. The adjustable drawstring provides another way to tailor the neck fit. For a dog recovering at home, the softer material may also be a more comfortable option to wear while resting, though comfort and fit can vary by dog.

Buyers describe the cone as soft and easy to fasten, with some saying their dogs were able to sleep comfortably in it. They also report that it helped keep dogs from reaching surgical areas. Size feedback is mixed: some find the fit appropriate, while others say it runs too large, so those reports are not a substitute for checking the measurements.

## Highlights
This is a single dog recovery collar in Dark Blue, size L, with breathable mesh fabric, a hook-and-loop closure, and an adjustable drawstring. The stated use is to limit licking or biting at wounds, skin issues, or incisions. It suits you if you want a soft fabric alternative to a rigid cone and its listed neck size works for your dog. It may not suit you if you need a clearly documented cone depth to assess coverage, since that measurement is not supplied. The listing’s Small breed-size detail alongside its large-dog positioning is another reason to rely on fit measurements rather than the label.

## Should you buy it?
This cone is worth considering when a dog needs a softer recovery collar and the neck measurement and head length are compatible with the product. The fabric design may appeal more than a rigid plastic cone for a dog that needs to rest in its collar, while a plastic-style alternative may be preferable if you need a more defined shape or coverage. The available details do not establish that every dog will be prevented from reaching every wound, so suitability depends on the location being protected and the individual fit. Follow your veterinarian’s recovery guidance when choosing protective equipment.
