## Description

This moisturizing sunscreen lotion from Sun Bum offers everyday protection with SPF 15 while keeping skin hydrated and smooth, making it a convenient choice for casual outdoor activities and daily use. With vitamin E for added nourishment and a lightweight texture, this 8 oz bottle is designed for easy application at the beach, on walks, or during low-exposure sun exposure.

## Key Points

Sun Bum Original SPF 15 delivers broad spectrum protection against UVA and UVB rays, with a formula that includes vitamin E to help condition the skin. The product is made without octinoxate and oxybenzone, and it is compliant with Hawaii Act 104 according to the product notes. The texture absorbs easily and leaves a non-greasy feel, which many users prefer for everyday wear. Consider that SPF 15 provides moderate protection, so higher SPFs may be preferable for prolonged sun exposure or intense outdoor sports.

## Technical Specifications

- Name: **SUN BUM Original SPF 15 Sunscreen Body Lotion**
- Size: **8 oz**
- SPF: **15**
- Key ingredient: Vitamin E
- Reef-friendly notes: Made without octinoxate and oxybenzone, Hawaii 104 compliant

## Benefits

The lotion’s lightweight, moisturizing formula helps maintain skin softness while offering sun protection. Vitamin E supports skin conditioning, which can reduce dryness after time spent outdoors. Application is straightforward, and the 8 oz format is large enough for multiple uses yet still portable for basic travel needs. Because it avoids certain chemical filters often restricted near coral reefs, this sunscreen is presented as a reef-friendly option for locations that prohibit octinoxate and oxybenzone.

## Usage Recommendations

Apply liberally and evenly to exposed skin before sun exposure. Reapply as recommended after swimming, sweating, or towel drying to maintain protection. For extended time outdoors or strong sun conditions, use a higher SPF product or combine this lotion with protective clothing, a hat, and shade for more comprehensive coverage. Patch test on a small area if you have sensitive skin, and discontinue use if irritation occurs.

This product is useful for everyday, low- to moderate-intensity sun exposure and for users who prefer a moisturizing lotion with a lighter level of SPF. It may not be the best choice when prolonged or intense sun exposure is expected according to general sun safety guidance.
