## Description

This moisturizing shampoo for curly hair smooths frizz while gently cleansing and adding hydration, so waves and curls look defined and soft after each wash. It works as a daily care step enriched with coconut-derived oils and seaweed protein to help shield strands from sun exposure and dryness.

## Key Points

This formula focuses on hydration and frizz control, using plant-derived oils to replenish moisture without weighing curls down. The lather is described as gentle, which helps maintain natural texture and prevents excessive stripping of oils. For those who spend time outdoors, the product includes UV-protecting ingredients that help reduce color fading and brittleness from sun exposure. 🌊

The blend is marketed as vegan and cruelty free, and the brand states the shampoo is free from sulfates and parabens. These traits aim to keep the scalp balanced while supporting healthier-looking curls. Consider that very fine hair may require lighter application, since richer oils can feel heavier on low-density strands.

## Technical Specifications

- Name: **SUN BUM Curls Shampoo - 10 oz**
- Formulation: sulfate free, paraben free, gluten free
- Key actives: Monoi Coconut Oil and Seaweed Protein
- Claims: Vegan and cruelty free
- Protection: UV protecting ingredients according to the manufacturer

## Benefits

The moisturizing action helps reduce frizz and improve curl separation, allowing waves to retain bounce and shape. Monoi Coconut Oil contributes to surface softness and helps the hair feel smoother, while seaweed protein supports strand resilience and may improve elasticity with continued use. For daily routines this shampoo can be combined with a conditioner from the same line to enhance detangling and manageability. 🌿

## Usage Recommendations

Apply to wet hair and massage gently to create a light lather, then rinse completely to avoid buildup. The brand suggests following with a conditioner from the Curls line for best results. If you use heavy styling products, a second, gentle wash may be useful to fully remove residue. Keep in mind that results depend on hair porosity and current condition, and the formula may perform differently on chemically treated or very fine hair. ☀️.
