Stealth Cam STC-SOLP Solar Battery Pack, 12V, 3,000mAh, 10-ft Cable

Hunters who need to keep a compatible wireless or cellular trail camera powered in the field can pair it with the Stealth Cam Sol-Pak solar battery pack. Its 3,000mAh rechargeable lithium-ion battery and 12V solar panel provide a solar-powered alternative to repeatedly replacing conventional camera batteries.

An adjustable T-swivel bracket helps you position the panel to collect sunlight, while the insulated 10-foot cable connects it to a camera with an external 12V DC jack. The result is a practical power setup for remote scouting locations where regular battery changes are inconvenient.

Quick overview

The Sol-Pak is designed for Stealth Cam wireless and cellular hunting trail cameras that have an external 12V DC jack. Its 12V amorphous solar panel charges the built-in 3,000mAh rechargeable battery, and an LED indicator makes the battery level easy to check at a glance. The adjustable T-swivel bracket lets you orient the panel toward available light, giving you some flexibility when choosing where to mount it.

For camera owners weighing a solar-supported setup against a routine of swapping traditional batteries, the Sol-Pak combines the panel and rechargeable battery in one unit. A 10-foot insulated metal cable provides reach between the panel and camera, and the secure-lock DC plug helps keep that connection in place. The unit also has a USB charging port and a 12V DC input for connecting multiple solar panels.

Size & fit

The panel measures 7.5 x 3 x 7.9 inches and weighs 8.8 ounces. Its plastic housing is described as weather-resistant ABS, and the adjustable bracket supports positioning for the location and direction of the camera setup. The 10-foot cable gives you room to place the panel where it can receive light while keeping it connected to the camera.

Check the camera’s connection before setting up: this pack is intended for compatible Stealth Cam wireless or cellular trail cameras with an external 12V DC jack. That connection requirement is the key fit detail when choosing a power pack for a particular camera.

Everyday use

For a camera set along a property edge or hunting trail, the Sol-Pak can be mounted and aimed toward available sunlight while the cable runs to the camera’s 12V input. The battery indicator helps with a quick status check during a visit to the site. Its USB port also gives the pack an additional charging connection, and the 12V DC input supports connecting multiple panels for a linked solar setup.

Buyers often describe installation as straightforward. Feedback is more mixed on ongoing charging and durability: some report reliable use, while others mention charging problems, units that stopped working, or water getting inside. These reports are useful context alongside the product’s stated weather-resistant housing, particularly for equipment kept outdoors.

Buying verdict

The Stealth Cam Sol-Pak suits trail-camera owners looking to use solar power instead of relying solely on conventional battery changes. Its 3,000mAh rechargeable battery, adjustable panel, 10-foot cable, and battery-level indicator bring the core parts of a field power setup together. For compatible Stealth Cam wireless or cellular cameras with an external 12V DC jack, it offers a direct way to add solar charging to a remote camera installation.
