STAYGROW BT13 13-Inch Bud Leaf Bowl Trimmer with Clear Dome
Product description
The 13-inch bowl format gives the STAYGROW BT13 room to handle buds, flowers, and leaves in one trimming setup. Its hand crank operates the cutting action without a powered drive.
A clear visibility dome lets you see the material as you work, while the stainless steel bowl and filter tray form a sturdy work area for garden trimming.
The BT13 includes a straight blade for wet trimming and a serrated blade for dry trimming, so you can choose the blade for the task at hand.
Key takeaways
This bowl trimmer is designed for buds, flowers, leaves, and hydroponic plants. Instead of guiding scissors around each piece individually, you place the material in the bowl and turn the hand crank. That bowl-style approach is useful when you want a dedicated trimming station for garden processing.
The clear dome keeps the work visible during trimming. The removable handle makes the unit easier to put away between sessions, and the blades are replaceable. A one-year manufacturer warranty is also listed for the trimmer.
The package includes one straight blade for wet trimming and one serrated blade for dry trimming. The product guidance identifies their locations: the serrated blade is taped to the white foam, while the straight blade sits on the metal tray. Check both spots when unpacking so each blade is ready for its intended use.
Size & fit
The bowl measures 13 inches across, with listed dimensions of 13 inches long by 13 inches wide, and the trimmer weighs 5.5 pounds. This size provides a defined surface for handling plant material while keeping the tool in a bowl format rather than a handheld scissor setup. Plan a stable, level work area where you can turn the crank and keep the material close at hand.
Tips for day-to-day use
Match the blade to the material: use the straight blade for wet trimming and the serrated blade for dry trimming. Keep the clear dome in place as you work to maintain visibility over the bowl. When storing or cleaning the unit, the removable handle helps make the trimmer easier to manage, customer feedback on cleaning is mixed, so allow time to clean the bowl and components after use.
Some buyers say the trimmer works well and is faster than trimming by hand, while others raise concerns about durability, including reports of failure after first use. Buyers also mention difficulty locating blades. The included blade locations above can help with unpacking, and the replaceable-blade design is useful when maintaining the cutting setup over time.
When it makes sense
It makes sense if you process garden material often enough to want a bowl-style alternative to trimming piece by piece with scissors. The hand crank, visible work area, and separate blades for wet and dry trimming give the BT13 a clear role in a home garden or hydroponic plant workflow. Choose it for a dedicated 13-inch trimming station with a manual crank, rather than a compact handheld cutting tool.
