## Description

## What to know
This expansion adds the iconic AT-ST Walker to your Star Wars: Legion battles, boosting Imperial forces with stronger firepower and a visibly improved assembly experience. It includes both Imperial and Chewbacca unit cards, enabling flexible command options on the tabletop. If you’re building a more dynamic Imperial lineup, this expansion can tip the scales with mobile firepower and strategic choices.

## Key features
The core appeal lies in three pillars: Improved assembly, versatile customization, and ready-to-play cards. The reengineered AT-ST aims for a smoother build, so you can jump into play quicker. You can customize the model by choosing a top-hatch crew option between General Weiss or Chewbacca, opening different tactical avenues. The set includes unit cards for both Imperial forces and Chewbacca, expanding how you deploy this unit in your Army roster.

## Pros
On the table, the AT-ST expansion contributes notable mobility and firepower to Imperial battlegroups, with a quick-start assembly experience. The option to swap crew in the top hatch adds tactical variety without needing a second model. Having separate unit cards in the box means you can start playing right away, rather than hunting down missing components.

## What could be improved
The value hinges on how deeply you value customization and new unit cards. If your current roster already has strong alternatives for aerial or heavy infantry support, this expansion might feel like a supplementary upgrade rather than a must-have. Also, the impact of Chewbacca’s presence depends on whether your playgroup uses character crossovers in your campaigns. If you prioritize pure firepower in a fixed roster, the practical gains may be less dramatic.

## Who it’s for
This expansion appeals to Star Wars: Legion players seeking to reinforce Imperial forces with a mobile, hard-hitting walker and flexible crew options. It’s likely a good fit for players who enjoy mix-and-match troop composition and who want more on-table decision points during battles. It also suits groups that value quick assembly and immediate playability.

## Who it isn’t for
If you’re building a lean, budget-conscious list or if your local playgroups prioritize lighter, infantry-focused strategies, the AT-ST expansion could feel overkill. It’s not ideal if you’re avoiding extra figurines or if you rarely use walkers in your campaigns.

## Before you buy: considerations
- Check how the new unit cards integrate with your current roster and campaign rules.
- Consider whether you’ll actually use General Weiss, Chewbacca, or both in your top hatch.
- Assess your board setup: does your meta reward faster, longer-range firepower or heavy frontline presence?
- Review your assembly tolerance: even with improvements, some hobbyists still spend a bit of time on model prep.

## In context: how it compares to other approaches
If you prefer a lean army with fewer moving parts, you might prioritize units that slot directly into standard rosters without extra crew options. If you like tactical flexibility and themed storytelling, this expansion offers a nice narrative twist by introducing Chewbacca in the top hatch and the option to reconfigure the AT-ST for different matchups. In practice, it’s a middle-ground addition that shifts from a pure force multiplier to a more adaptable asset on the battlefield.

## Final verdict
Is it worth it? Worth considering if you value additional firepower, flexible crew choices, and immediate playability right out of the box. It isn’t the only way to enhance your Imperial roster, but it does deliver a more dynamic AT-ST presence with practical setup benefits. If you prize quick assembly and on-table versatility, this expansion makes sense to add.

## Quick FAQ
- How many new cards are included? The box includes both the Imperial unit card and the Chewbacca unit card.
- Can I use the AT-ST with or without Chewbacca in the top hatch? Yes, the customization option supports assembling it with either General Weiss or Chewbacca.
- Does this expansion require other Star Wars: Legion sets to play? It’s designed to integrate into the core game and existing expansions, provided you have the base game components.
