## Description

For the final polishing stage on a car, use the SPTA Red T10 pads to work with a finishing compound or apply wax. The ultra-fine polyurethane foam is made for finishing tasks and fine swirl-mark work. Each pad has a 6.5-inch face and a hook-and-loop backing. The three-piece set is designed for a 6-inch, 150mm backing plate.

## Pros

The Red T10’s ultra-fine foam suits finishing work where a gentler polishing pad is preferred over a more aggressive cutting approach. Use it with finishing polish to address ultra-fine swirl marks and wash scratches, or switch to waxing as part of the same surface-care routine. The pad is intended for rotary and dual-action (DA) polishers, giving detailers and DIY users a choice of machine style for their project.

A grooved face helps hold excess polishing paste and abrasives while promoting airflow between the pad and the paint. That design supports heat management during polishing. The high-density polyurethane foam has uniform elasticity and is easy to bend, which helps it follow the working surface. Its porous structure is designed to allow airflow, and the hook-and-loop attachment makes pad changes straightforward. The set includes three pads, useful for keeping a fresh pad available during a multi-step detailing session.

## Worth noting

The 6.5-inch face is intended for a 6-inch, 150mm backing plate, so match the pad to the plate on your polisher before starting. The red T10 is an extra-fine finishing pad, not a general-purpose abrasive choice for every correction stage. It is a good fit for finishing, fine swirl-mark work, and waxing, a more aggressive pad is a different approach for heavier correction. The listed uses also include oxidation and sun-damage work, as well as cars, boats, glass, and other surfaces. Choose the polishing compound and working method for the surface and task at hand.

## Usage tips

During polishing, clean the pad when abrasive or polishing-paste buildup becomes excessive. Clean it again after use, and avoid solvents and alkaline cleaners. These simple care steps follow the product’s stated cleaning guidance and help keep the foam ready for future detailing work. The hook-and-loop backing supports pad replacement, while the grooved design helps circulate air as you work. Use the pad with a compatible 6-inch, 150mm backing plate and a rotary or DA polisher.

## Buying verdict

Choose the SPTA Red T10 when your detailing routine calls for an ultra-fine foam pad for finishing polish or wax, rather than a more aggressive correction pad. Its 6.5-inch face, hook-and-loop attachment, and stated fit for a 6-inch, 150mm backing plate make the intended setup clear. With three pads in the set and use specified for rotary and DA polishers, it suits car-care projects as well as listed applications on boats and glass.
