## Description

Medium dogs benefit from a bed that gives them a comfortable place to settle and room to curl up. The Spotted Play dogbed-1 combines supportive foam with raised sides for a cozy, defined resting spot.

Its lowered front entry makes it easier to step onto the bed, while the bolsters provide a place to rest the head. The rectangular bed measures 28 x 23 x 6.5 inches.

A removable, machine-washable cover and a liner that helps shield the foam from minor spills make everyday care more straightforward.

## Where it shines

This bed suits a dog’s regular indoor resting space, from a quiet corner of the living room to a bedroom. The egg-crate foam is designed to distribute weight and cushion everyday pressure points, giving dogs a supportive surface for naps and overnight rest. Its four-sided bolster design creates a more enclosed feel than a simple flat mat, with raised edges for dogs that like to curl up or rest their heads. The lowered entrance provides a clear way in without stepping over a full-height side.

The non-slip base helps reduce sliding on smooth indoor floors. For a pet’s sleeping area, that means the bed can be placed where the dog already likes to settle, with the cushioned surface and bolsters ready for lounging.

## Highlights

The foam mattress pairs with a soft flannel cover for a cushioned, cozy resting place. A water-resistant inner liner helps protect the foam from minor spills and accidents, while the zippered cover can be removed for machine washing. These details make the bed practical for daily use as well as comfortable for downtime.

Buyers often highlight the bed’s comfort, softness, and removable cover. Some describe it as a supportive place for older dogs, and customers also appreciate the raised edges as a spot to rest their pets’ heads. These comments reflect individual experiences, while the bed’s construction provides the concrete details to consider: foam cushioning, bolsters, a lowered entry, and a washable cover.

Compared with a basic flat pad, this design adds raised sides for dogs who like a cozier resting position. Measure your dog while resting to choose a suitable size, if your dog falls between sizes, the manufacturer recommends choosing the larger one.

## Care tips

To clean the bed, unzip and remove the cover, then machine wash the cover separately from the foam insert. The foam itself is not washable. After unpacking, allow the bed 24–48 hours to expand before use. For routine placement, the textured base is designed to help reduce movement on smooth indoor floors.

## Final verdict

For medium dogs that enjoy a cushioned surface with sides to lean against, the Spotted Play bed brings together supportive egg-crate foam, four bolsters, and an easy-entry front. The removable washable cover is a useful everyday-care feature, while the inner liner helps shield the mattress from minor spills. It’s a practical choice for creating a dedicated resting spot with more structure than a flat pad.
