Sportneer CSP-01 Kids' Foldable Seat Pad with Water-Repellent Backing & Pockets

Benefits

At 13.78" × 13.78", this square seat pad gives kids a portable place to sit outdoors. The listed material is cotton, with a water-repellent aluminum film backing to help reduce contact with damp ground and hot or cold surfaces. It folds for carrying and includes a carabiner for attaching it to the outside of a backpack.

Two open pockets keep small items, such as tickets, a folded map, or hand warmers, close at hand. A writable name area on the side label can also help identify the pad when several people bring gear to a group outing. For a picnic, park visit, or day at a sporting event, it can be unfolded when a clean place to sit is useful, then packed away afterward.

Buyer feedback highlights the pad’s foldability and usefulness for activities such as hiking, camping, and sitting on metal bleachers. Opinions on cushioning are mixed: some buyers find it provides enough padding, while others describe it as thin or firm. That makes it more suitable as a portable sitting layer than as a deeply cushioned seat.

Key takeaways

The seat area measures 13.78" × 13.78", and the pad folds down to 7" × 7" × 1.5". Its compact folded shape and included carabiner offer an alternative to carrying a larger seat or chair when portability matters more than substantial cushioning. The two pockets add a place for small essentials, but they are open-top, so they are not described as secure storage.

The product is presented as kid-sized, making its dimensions especially relevant when choosing it for a child or for a compact spot on the ground or bleachers. It can also be considered for family picnics and outdoor activities where a simple, foldable seat pad is more practical than bringing a full chair. It makes sense if you want a small pad that can be attached to a pack and used across different outings.

How to take care of it

After use, wipe grass, dirt, or dust from the pad with a damp cloth, then fold it for storage or transport. The care information provided describes wiping, rather than machine washing, so avoid assuming it can be laundered. Its water-repellent backing is intended to reduce contact with moisture, the available details do not establish that the whole pad is waterproof, so it is best treated as a barrier against damp surfaces rather than as rainproof gear.

Is it worth it?

This Sportneer pad is a practical fit for outings where a lightweight, foldable place to sit is more important than thick cushioning. The pockets, writable name area, and backpack attachment point make it more versatile than a basic flat mat, while its small sitting area keeps it focused on one person at a time. It might not be a great match if you want substantial padding for long periods on hard seating, buyer feedback is divided on how much cushioning it provides. For short stops, picnics, or bleacher seating, its compact format and wipe-clean care offer a clear use case.
