Sooez SZA1613-2201A Zipper Binder Bag, 1-Inch 3-Ring, 5-Tab

The 5-pocket expanding file separates loose papers by class or subject, so handouts and notes have a place beyond the binder rings. Color labels make the sections easy to identify.

This light blue zippered binder combines a 1-inch, 3-ring O-ring binder with an expanding file folder. Together, they offer up to 500 sheets of capacity: up to 200 sheets in the rings and up to 300 in the file folder, using 15 lb. filler paper.

A removable binder, mesh pocket, zippered pocket, and four elastic pen loops bring papers and everyday school supplies into one portable organizer. Carry it by hand or slip it into a backpack for the move between classes.

Who it’s for

This binder is designed for students who manage notes, assignments, and handouts across several subjects. The five top-tab pockets can sort loose pages by class, while the rings hold three-hole paper that needs to stay together. It supports Letter-size sheets measuring 8.5 x 11 inches, making it suited to typical classroom papers and lesson materials.

It can also help keep pens, pencils, and smaller supplies close at hand. The mesh and zippered pockets provide separate storage, and the four elastic loops hold writing tools in place. If the day calls for carrying only class materials rather than a stack of books, the zippered format keeps the organizer contained for a classroom-to-classroom routine.

Why it makes sense

Some students prefer a simple binder for papers already punched and sorted, others need an expanding file for loose handouts. This design brings both approaches together. Use the rings for frequently referenced notes and the five-pocket file to group papers that are not yet filed, keeping different subjects organized in one case.

The binder is made from sturdy 900D polyester fabric and features a zipper and stitched construction. A strap holds paper in place, while the removable binder can serve as a portable writing platform for taking notes in different settings. Its light blue color gives the organizer a distinct look without changing its practical role.

Buyer feedback often highlights the storage layout, zipper, and ability to carry a substantial set of papers without the case feeling overly bulky. Some customers also mention that it fits in their backpacks, a useful detail for students moving between classes.

Worth noting

The stated 500-sheet capacity combines two separate areas rather than referring to the rings alone: up to 200 sheets in the rings and up to 300 in the expanding file folder, based on 15 lb. filler paper. This distinction helps when deciding how to divide notes and loose handouts. The five pockets have assorted color labels, and the top-tab layout makes the sections straightforward to access while the organizer is open.

For a school day, one practical setup is to keep current notes in the rings, sort new handouts into the labeled pockets, and store pens in the elastic loops. The zippered case brings those items together, while the removable binder lets the paper section be used separately when a lighter writing setup is helpful.
