Sooez SZA0502-0302A-1224 Matte Black Permanent Vinyl, 12" x 14 ft

The 12" x 14 ft roll of matte black vinyl gives you material for lettering, decals, signs, and other custom craft projects. Its solid black finish suits designs that need a clean, understated look.

A clear PET backing is designed to make weeding easier during cutting and transfer. It helps keep the backing intact as you prepare a design, including fine details and small lettering.

The permanent adhesive is intended for smooth surfaces, while the water-resistant vinyl can be used for indoor or outdoor projects. This makes the roll useful for both home crafts and functional graphics.

What to know

This is a single-use roll of matte-finish vinyl with a 12" width and 14 ft length. The PET backing supports cutting and weeding, and the adhesive backing is intended for permanent application. The material is described as water-resistant and UV-resistant, making it suitable for projects such as window graphics, signs, and car decals as well as indoor decor.

Compared with craft vinyl on paper backing, the PET-backed format is designed to help with weeding and keep the backing from being cut through during machine work. That can be helpful when a design includes narrow lettering or smaller shapes. Buyers often praise how easily the vinyl cuts and weeds, feedback on adhesion and durability is mixed, so careful application to a smooth surface is important for a finished decal.

How it fits

The vinyl is compatible with Silhouette, Graphtec, and other craft cutting machines. Prepare the design in your machine’s software, cut the vinyl, weed away the excess, and transfer the design to a clean, smooth surface. The matte black color provides clear contrast for lettering and graphic details, while the roll format lets you cut pieces to suit each project.

For example, you can cut a name or simple graphic for a window, weed the surrounding vinyl, then position the design on the surface. The permanent adhesive is intended to hold the cut design in place. The vinyl is also described as water- and UV-resistant for indoor and outdoor use.

Best use cases

Choose this roll for custom signs, window graphics, car decals, banners, letters, stencils, and scrapbooking. It also works for home decor and personalized craft projects where a matte black finish fits the design. For a party decoration, for instance, cut matching labels or lettering for signs and display pieces. The 12" width offers a practical format for machine-cut designs, while the 14 ft length provides material for multiple projects or longer graphics.

It makes sense if you want permanent black adhesive vinyl for machine-cut designs and value a backing intended to simplify weeding. For a project that needs a different look, the main choice is the finish and color of the vinyl, this roll keeps the design simple with solid matte black.
