## Description

## How it fits

If you want a straightforward pair of wired earbuds for a USB-C phone, the Sony IER-EX15C is built around that everyday setup. Its inline mic and controls also make it useful when you want to handle calls or adjust audio without picking up your phone.

The serrated cable is designed to help reduce tangles when you put the earbuds away. That’s a small practical detail for a pair you might carry in a pocket or bag between uses.

The housings use silicone ear tips in different sizes, so you can choose a fit that feels more secure. The product listing names iPhone and Android phones, and says the headphones support USB Audio Class 1.0 devices.

This is a wired USB-C design, not a wireless pair. If your phone or other device doesn’t have a compatible USB-C audio connection, these won’t be a convenient match. You’ll appreciate it if you prefer a direct connection and easy access to basic controls. But do you need a more involved setup? There’s no mention of advanced features such as noise cancellation, so these are better viewed as everyday listening earbuds than a feature-heavy upgrade.

## Pros

- The inline remote combines a multifunction button, volume controls, and a built-in microphone.
- Different-size silicone ear tips give you options for finding a secure fit.
- The serrated cable is intended to be easier to manage and carry than a cable that readily tangles.
- Blue is one of the listed color options, alongside black, white, and pink.

The compact design is a sensible fit for listening on the go, while the inline controls can be handy when a phone is tucked away. The maker describes the sound as well-balanced, that’s a broad claim, not a detailed account of tuning or performance. It may not suit you if you’re looking for wireless listening, a stated battery-free design isn’t the point here, or detailed sound specifications before buying.

## Spec sheet

- Name: Sony IER-EX15C
- Type: Wired in-ear headphones with microphone
- Connector: USB-C
- Color: Blue
- Controls: Multifunction button and volume up/down
- Ear tips: Silicone, in different sizes
- Audio support: USB Audio Class 1.0 devices

The product information doesn’t specify the number of ear-tip sizes, cable length, or detailed audio measurements. If those details matter to your fit or setup, this listing doesn’t provide them. The stated USB Audio Class support is useful context, but device compatibility can still depend on the port and audio support of the phone or other device you plan to use.

## Should you buy it?

The Sony IER-EX15C makes sense if you want simple USB-C earbuds with an inline microphone, volume adjustment, and a cable intended to resist tangling. Picture taking a call while walking, then lowering the volume with the remote instead of stopping to unlock your phone: that’s the kind of everyday convenience this design prioritizes.

Compared with wireless earbuds, these trade freedom from a cable for a direct wired connection and no need to manage a separate wireless setup. Compared with more demanding listening options, the product details don’t establish advanced sound features or provide enough measurements to judge audio performance closely. Choose them for basic wired listening and calls when your device supports USB-C audio, look elsewhere if you need wireless use or want detailed performance specifications before deciding.
