## Description

If you want a kitchen trash can that blends into the room, the SONGMICS ULTB586WZ01 pairs a cloud white finish with a fluted design. If hands-free access matters more during meal prep, its foot pedal opens the lid without requiring you to touch it.

The 13-gallon (50 L) capacity suits everyday kitchen cleanup, while a removable inner bucket makes it easier to lift out a full load or change the liner. The can measures 15.9"L x 13.2"W x 24.6"H.

A soft-close lid is designed to shut gently, and you can lift it manually to 90° when a task calls for longer access. Fifteen code K liner bags are included to get started.

## Pros

Hands-free pedal operation is useful when your hands are busy with food scraps or packaging. For longer kitchen tasks, manually lifting the lid to 90° keeps the opening accessible. When you’re done, the soft-close mechanism brings the lid down gently rather than letting it drop with a disruptive bang.

The stainless steel exterior gives the bin a more finished look than a basic plastic can, and its fluted profile adds visual detail. Cloud white can complement a range of kitchen styles. The PP plastic inner bucket lifts out for liner changes and emptying, helping keep routine cleanup straightforward.

Buyer feedback often highlights the appearance, color, and ease of changing bags. Experiences with the lid are mixed: some customers appreciate its gentle closing, while others report problems with its operation. That makes the pedal, removable bucket, and design useful points to weigh together for your kitchen routine.

## Cleaning & care

For regular care, wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth, use mild detergent if needed. The removable inner bucket can be taken out for cleaning, and its handles help when lifting it. The bin is intended for indoor use. Leave at least 2" between the back of the can and the wall so the lid has room to open without hitting it. To help preserve the lid mechanism, close it gently rather than forcing it down by hand.

## Before you decide

**Can the lid stay open during longer kitchen tasks?** Yes. In addition to opening by pedal, the lid can be lifted manually to 90° for tasks that need continued access, such as clearing several items after cooking.

**How do you change the trash bag?** Lift out the removable inner bucket, replace the liner, then return the bucket to the can. Fifteen code K liner bags are included.

**How much room should I leave behind the bin?** Keep the back at least 2" from the wall. This gives the lid clearance to open without striking the wall.

## Is it worth it?

A solid pick if you want a 13-gallon kitchen bin that combines hands-free pedal access, a removable inner bucket, and a softer-closing lid with a cloud white fluted finish. The included starter bags make it ready for everyday kitchen cleanup, while the manual lid opening offers a practical option when you need the top to remain open briefly.
