## Description

The step-on pedal opens this 20-gallon kitchen trash can without requiring you to touch the lid, making everyday disposal more convenient while cooking or cleaning. Its stainless steel exterior brings a clean, silver look to the room, and the soft-close lid lowers gently after use. A removable inner bucket and rear handle make liner changes and moving the can easier. If you need generous capacity for a busy household, this design offers a different approach from choosing a smaller bin to save floor space, with a slim profile intended to help it fit neatly into the kitchen.

## What to know
With a 20-gallon (75 L) capacity, this rectangular SONGMICS bin can accommodate day-to-day household waste and larger items. The stainless steel exterior is designed to resist rust and can be wiped clean, the inner bucket is plastic and removable. A hole in the bucket helps hold the liner in place and keeps excess bag material tucked away. For routine disposal, press the pedal to open the lid hands-free. You can also open it by hand and keep it open while handling a longer task, such as clearing food from the refrigerator.

The soft-close mechanism brings the lid down slowly, helping reduce the noise of closing. The silver finish suits a range of kitchen styles, while the rear handle provides a practical grip when you need to reposition the bin. Its overall dimensions are 19.5 in L x 16.3 in W x 28.1 in H, and the lid reaches 39.4 in when open, useful measurements when planning placement beneath a counter or near an island. Leave 2 in between the back of the can and the wall during use so the lid has room to open. This trash can is intended for indoor use.

Buyer feedback often highlights the appearance, capacity, and pedal operation. Opinions are mixed on the lid mechanism and durability, so experiences with those aspects vary.

## How to take care of it
Wipe the stainless steel exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Use mild detergent if needed. To help preserve the lid mechanism, let the soft-close action lower the lid rather than pushing it shut forcefully. The removable inner bucket gives you access for liner changes and cleaning, keeping it in place also helps contain the bag inside the can. When moving the unit, use the handle on the back and maintain the recommended 2-inch gap from the wall once it is positioned.

## Best use cases
This bin is suited to kitchens where a larger waste capacity is useful, including busy family spaces and areas where cooking produces frequent scraps or packaging. The foot pedal supports hands-free opening when your hands are occupied, and the option to hold the lid open can help during a cleanup that involves repeated trips to the bin. For households balancing capacity with a more considered footprint, its slim profile offers a practical alternative to a wider, bulkier container. The silver stainless steel exterior also makes it a natural fit when you want a bin that coordinates with other metal kitchen finishes.

## Is it worth it?
Choose the SONGMICS ULTB075EZ01 when your kitchen needs a large-capacity bin with pedal access, a soft-close lid, and a removable bucket for liner handling. The rear handle is useful for repositioning, while the bag hole helps keep the liner secured and out of sight. Together, these details support everyday disposal as well as kitchen cleanup, making this model a practical choice for households looking for a roomy indoor trash can with a stainless steel finish.
