Its solid rubberwood frame and tufted upholstered top give it a softer look than a basic hard-surface table. The table measures 31.5 inches in diameter and 17.7 inches high. The cushion has 2 inches of high-resilience foam under linen-look fabric, and the maker lists a maximum load of 660 lb (300 kg). A wide, slatted shelf sits beneath the seat for books, blankets, and other living-room items. The frame is the structural part, the upholstered top is the part you can use as extra seating or a footrest. It arrives partially assembled with an Allen key, and the listed setup time is about 15 minutes. ## Getting the most from it The lower shelf is open rather than enclosed, so stored items stay visible and within reach. That suits folded throws or a few books better than belongings you want hidden away. It also means the table can look busy if the shelf becomes a catchall. Compared with a conventional coffee table, this design adds a cushioned surface and a place to store everyday items. In a smaller seating area, that can make one piece do more than provide a spot for drinks. It does not offer the closed storage of a lidded ottoman, though, and its round footprint takes up 31.5 inches of floor space. Measure the area around your seating before choosing it. ## Usage tips Use the top as a footrest while watching TV, or as occasional extra seating when guests need another place to sit. For a simple living-room reset, fold a throw onto the lower shelf and keep a book there, after a movie, both are easy to grab without opening a drawer or moving another piece of furniture. The cushion is upholstered, so this is a softer, more lounge-friendly choice than a bare wood or glass table. In turn, it may not suit someone who specifically wants a firm, wipe-clean tabletop for frequent meals or messy projects. Keep the shelf’s open layout in mind when deciding what to store there. It suits you if you want a round coffee table that can also serve as a footrest, occasional seat, and open blanket shelf. You may want to skip it if concealed storage or a clear, hard tabletop is your priority. ## Before you decide **Can it be used as extra seating?** The product is presented for use as extra seating, and its listed maximum load is 660 lb (300 kg). **Is the storage hidden?** No. The blanket and book storage is on a wide, open slatted shelf below the top. **Does it arrive fully assembled?** No. It comes partially preassembled with an Allen key, the listed assembly time is about 15 minutes. ## Buying verdict This SONGMICS table makes most sense when you’ll use both levels: the upholstered top for sitting or putting your feet up, and the shelf for items you want close at hand. Its rubberwood frame, round shape, and cushioned surface give it a different role from a simple tabletop coffee table. The tradeoff is practical rather than complicated: the storage stays on display, and the piece still needs room for its full diameter. Choose it for a living room that benefits from an extra soft surface and accessible storage, look elsewhere if you need a compact table with concealed compartments or a firm work surface. ## Images ![SONGMICS Ottoman Coffee Table with Solid Wood Frame — 1](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/uaS5aDTC4ZFLQrWnlHjmWBIInPhbYGdZKOhpqyftZ6BdFZAOIJEQMgk-wy7Xo8RhCWJdMGGn7Zi25e8g_ACmBrsQyAY2Yn2mZw5cI5uxY6b-TDSEdoFnRhFc6A.jpg) ![SONGMICS Ottoman Coffee Table with Solid Wood Frame — 2](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/uh0ZZ9T1nWfvRu9dS34cYF9k4ZhUw0IGFJDPs9y7cb3Eef5dBHjKDHFXWVZAqCK1C2bPk77_ZjTMNdmm4P8DzGqwVuhnrjwUJ7M70pQfdqbnQTOv7Q0BeLz00g.jpg) ![SONGMICS Ottoman Coffee Table with Solid Wood Frame — 3](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/0chs_NNOBdTOUXbb-fSpKc1aovUwxeNctQTg8yPz_CDY8MtcYgTIawhbOuo8HnRYqs_qT_Xh_B59W0ddp1tKqAgP_giFz4yybqg-TOjTR4e_jArUsKzXnS6zZw.jpg) ![SONGMICS Ottoman Coffee Table with Solid Wood Frame — 4](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/hEwnAsZzmr58ogiJ3zJ1U9UJqhDqox0M-tITrhsYwPfx11Hzb48vXaBt-VPFIyQXlZVu1pnXPCD8zwSEm2FBH2aqyrJnRkl12XjU-uAVfwIeoM0TlmWbweTFCw.jpg) ![SONGMICS Ottoman Coffee Table with Solid Wood Frame — 5](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/BYlLWkuUVysmpd7ivkZEGRLgKY9F1hHv5k60tQfawSvOLBqxp9tXAmWBd9JahCjWlrAb6i1U-Rb8JnMy1RWr4FUcN_ufTR5pjzVcexGBHq_tG_XCCPnCnHlJcg.jpg)
