## Description

Extra-large dogs need room to stretch and a comfortable place to settle between walks, meals, and family time. The Song Puppy SP11 dog bed pairs an orthopedic memory foam cushion with raised bolsters for a supportive, sofa-style resting spot.

Choose the fold-down bolster for an easier step onto the bed and extra room to stretch, or keep it raised to create a cozier, more enclosed place to rest. The design makes it easy to adapt the sleeping area to your dog’s preferred position.

For everyday indoor use or a resting spot in the car, the removable, machine-washable cover and waterproof lining help make routine care more practical. Its non-slip bottom is designed to grip smooth floors, including hardwood and tile.

## Tech summary
- Size: 42 x 30 x 9 inches
- Color: Gray
- Fill: High-density egg-crate memory foam
- Cover: Removable, machine-washable polyester
- Special features: Orthopedic support, waterproof TPU lining, non-slip bottom, fold-down bolster
- Included components: Bolster, cover, cushion, and tennis ball toy
- Certifications: CertiPUR-US foam and OEKO-TEX certified cover

The memory foam is designed to distribute cushioning across the resting surface and support a dog’s body while lying down. Three bolsters provide edges to lean against or rest a head on, the fold-down section attaches with Velcro and can be lowered when more open access or stretch space is useful. A plush surface adds a soft contact layer, while the waterproof lining helps protect the bed from moisture and accidents. Silicone dots on the bottom help keep it in place on smooth flooring.

## What it works with
This bed suits indoor resting areas and is also listed for car use. Its rectangular, sofa-style shape gives a dog a defined place to lie down, while the raised sides offer a more enclosed alternative to a flat cushion. That makes the choice straightforward: use the bolsters up for a nest-like setup, or fold one down when easier entry and a more open surface matter more. For placement on hardwood or tile, the non-slip base helps provide a steadier resting area.

The removable cover can be machine washed, so routine cleanup does not require treating the whole bed as one piece. The tennis ball toy is included for interactive play alongside the resting setup. Buyers often highlight the bed’s comfort, roomy feel, and washable cover, as well as its appearance in the home.

## Best use cases
For a large or senior dog, the broad sleeping surface and cushioned foam offer a dedicated spot to rest, with bolsters for leaning or head support. At home, it can serve as a regular dog couch in a living space or bedroom. In a car, it provides a familiar bed surface for a dog’s rest during travel, measure the intended space against the bed’s 42 x 30-inch footprint before placing it. Owners choosing between a flat mat and a bolster bed can use the fold-down section to get either a more open layout or a cozier edge-supported setup.

## Practical questions
**Can the cover be washed?** Yes. The cover is removable and machine washable, making it easier to clean the fabric separately from the cushion.

**Can the bolster be lowered?** Yes. The fold-down bolster is secured with Velcro and can be laid flat for easier access and additional stretch space, or kept raised for a more enclosed resting area.

**What helps protect the bed and keep it in place?** A waterproof TPU lining helps guard against moisture and accidents, while silicone dots on the bottom are designed to grip smooth floors such as hardwood and tile.

## Is it worth it?
For owners looking for a defined, cushioned resting place for an extra-large dog, the SP11 combines memory foam support, adjustable bolsters, and a removable washable cover in one sofa-style bed. Its open-or-nest setup suits dogs that like either room to stretch or raised edges to lean against, while the waterproof lining and non-slip base add useful details for everyday placement and care.
