Sondiko Propane Torch with 10-Foot Hose

When weeds push through a driveway or ice makes an outdoor path harder to clear, hand tools can turn a small job into a slow one. The Sondiko propane torch is designed to put a directed flame to outdoor tasks, with a long-reach setup for ground work and a shorter configuration for closer jobs.

The propane tank is not included, so you’ll need one separately.

Key specifications

The torch has a detachable, three-section design: handle, extension pole, and nozzle. The product listing gives adjustable lengths of 24 and 37 inches. Use the extended configuration for tasks such as weed control, asphalt softening, and clearing ice or snow, remove the extension for a more compact tool suited to detail work, grilling, or starting a campfire.

A 10-foot hose lets you keep the propane tank away from the torch as you move around a work area. The hose is described as three-layer PVC-coated rubber. Other listed controls include a piezo igniter, a gas control valve, and a turbo-boost trigger for adjusting the flame. The listing claims a maximum temperature of 3,272°F, actual results will depend on the task and conditions. It does not provide a fuel-consumption figure, so you can’t estimate runtime without that measurement.

Who it’s for

This setup makes the most sense for someone handling occasional outdoor jobs where a long reach and a concentrated flame are useful—such as treating weeds in driveway cracks or loosening ice in a specific spot. The short configuration also gives it uses beyond yard work, though this is still a propane torch, not a general-purpose indoor tool. Follow appropriate precautions for open-flame work, particularly near dry vegetation and combustible materials.

A solid pick if you want one torch that can switch between extended and compact configurations. It might not be a great match if you need a ready-to-use kit with a fuel tank included, or if your work calls for a known runtime or fuel-use specification that the listing doesn’t provide.

What you get

The described setup consists of the handle, extension pole, nozzle, and 10-foot hose. The three-section construction lets you change the torch’s reach rather than committing to one fixed length. For example, you could assemble the extension to work along a driveway, then remove it for a closer task such as lighting a campfire. The listing also states that the product includes a 36-month warranty. It does not say that a propane tank comes in the package.

Before you decide

Is a propane tank included? No. The listing explicitly says the tank is not included, so factor in sourcing a compatible fuel tank separately.

Can the torch be used at two lengths? Yes. The listing describes a detachable extension and gives 24- and 37-inch configurations, with the compact setup intended for closer work.

How is the flame started and adjusted? It has a piezo igniter for match-free starting, plus a gas control valve and trigger for flame adjustment, according to the product details.

Is it worth it?

This torch stands out for combining adjustable reach, a 10-foot hose, and a stated range of uses, rather than being a fixed-length burner for one narrow job. That flexibility may be useful if your outdoor chores vary from weeds to localized ice or snow clearing. The tradeoff is that you must supply the propane tank, and the lack of runtime information makes it harder to plan longer jobs. Choose it when the adjustable format fits your tasks, look for a more fully specified or tank-included setup if those details matter more.
