## Description

This set of two black floating wall shelves brings simple, modern display and storage to small spaces, combining a slim profile with a raised lip to keep items secure. Ideal for bedrooms, living rooms, bathrooms, kitchens or nurseries, these 14-inch wall-mounted wooden ledges help organize toiletries, framed photos, small plants and decorative objects while adding a neat visual line to the wall.

## Key Points

The pair of shelves features a minimal silhouette with neatly finished edges and a front lip that prevents items from slipping. They are sold as a set of two 14-inch shelves which can be mixed with other sizes to build a custom display wall. Installation hardware is included and the floating design keeps floors clear while maximizing vertical storage. Consider that weight capacity may vary by wall type and mounting quality according to the manufacturer.

## Technical Specifications

- Name: **Solrot Black Floating Shelves set of 2 - 14 inches**
- Material: wood (painted black)
- Quantity: 2 shelves
- Size: 14 inches (length)
- Mounting: wall-mounted with included hardware

## Usage Recommendations

Mount the shelves at eye level to display photos or artwork, or install above a dresser or sink to store everyday items within easy reach. For bathrooms, place toiletries toward the back to avoid splashes, and use the raised lip to keep bottles steady. When arranging multiple shelves, leave at least 8 to 12 inches between rows for a balanced look, and combine different shelf lengths for more visual interest. If you plan to display heavier objects like vinyl records or large planters, verify the wall anchors suit drywall or masonry to ensure secure fixing.

## Positive Aspects

The matte black finish blends with modern and transitional interiors and helps accentuate displayed items without competing for attention. Installation is straightforward for most DIYers since mounting hardware comes with the product. These ledges add functional storage in compact rooms while keeping a clean, uncluttered appearance. Some users may prefer a raw wood finish instead, so note the painted surface when coordinating with existing décor.
