## Description

This SOLPERK solar panel kit combines a compact 20W monocrystalline panel with a smart MPPT controller and adjustable mount, designed to keep 12V batteries topped up for boats, RVs, motorcycles and automotive uses. As a solar battery trickle charger it helps maintain charge without drawing from the battery, so you get reliable standby power for accessories and starting batteries. The kit is practical for seasonal equipment and occasional use, with Plug and Play wiring and predrilled mounting holes for fast setup.

## Key features

The kit focuses on durable, low‑maintenance charging. It includes a high‑efficiency monocrystalline panel with a glass top and an aluminum frame that resists rust and harsh weather. An improved **8 A MPPT controller** raises charging efficiency by about 20 to 30 percent versus basic PWM units, and two indicator lights show charging status at a glance. The mount adjusts 360 degrees to chase the sun and the kit ships with all mounting hardware and a crocodile clip for temporary connections. ⚓️

## Tech specs

- Name: **SOLPERK Solar Panel Kit 20W 12V**
- Power: 20 W
- Voltage: 12 V
- Controller: 8 A MPPT
- Mount: Adjustable 360 degrees
- Wind load: 2400 Pa
- Snow load: 5400 Pa

## Why it’s worth it

If you need a compact system to prevent battery drain during storage or light use, this kit offers a simple solution. The **high conversion efficiency** of the cells supports steady trickle charging even on cloudy days. The panel is described as 100% waterproof and corrosion resistant, which reduces worries about marine or outdoor exposure. Do note that output is suited for maintenance and small loads, not primary power for large appliances. 🔋

## Practical tips

Install the panel where it gets the most sun angle through the day and tweak the mount as seasons change for better yield. For longer cable runs, minimize voltage drop by using thicker wire. Keep the glass surface clean to preserve performance and check controller indicators periodically for proper charging. 🌤️.
