## Description

## Quick overview

Some cold-weather layers are mainly for insulation, this vest adds adjustable heat for days when you want warmth without sleeves. Its fitted waist and lightweight build are intended to leave room for movement.

Nine carbon-fiber heating zones cover the collar, chest, areas around the pockets, and back. Choose from three heat settings, and use the two zippered side pockets for small essentials. A separate inner pocket holds the included power bank.

Could adjustable heat be useful when your activity or surroundings change during the day? The controls offer three levels, while the sleeveless design can work as a layer under another jacket. Buyers also describe it as lightweight and easy to wear beneath an outer layer, and some appreciate the battery life.

## Getting the most from it

This is a heated vest rather than a full jacket, so it suits situations where you want warmth across the core while keeping your arms free. The product details describe a fitted waist, which may matter if you plan to wear it over thicker clothing. No sizing measurements are provided here, so use the garment’s size information when choosing a fit, especially if you expect to layer underneath.

The shell is described as windproof and water-resistant, with protection against light rain. That can be useful for a walk, a work shift, or an outdoor activity in changeable conditions, but the description does not establish that the vest is waterproof. It also has an elastic bottom hem and down-cotton padding. A solid pick if you want a heated core layer with pockets and included power, It may not suit you if you need sleeves or protection for sustained heavy rain.

## How to use it

The chest logo serves as the power button: press and hold for three seconds to switch the vest on or off. Once powered on, select low, medium, or high to suit your comfort and conditions. The listed temperatures are 104°F, 122°F, and 140°F. The stated runtimes are up to 10 hours on low, 6 hours on medium, and 4 hours on high, using the included 5V, 10,000mAh power bank. Actual runtime depends on the selected setting and use.

The package includes the vest, power bank, a 30cm charging cable, and a user manual. The power bank’s USB port can also charge a phone or other device. Remove the battery before machine washing, the product information describes the vest as machine washable. For a hike, commute, or outdoor work, the simple button control may be easier to operate than a setup with several separate controls, including when wearing gloves.

## Practical questions

**Does the vest come with a battery?** Yes. The package includes a 10,000mAh power bank, along with a charging cable and user manual.

**How long does it run on each setting?** The listed maximums are 10 hours on low, 6 hours on medium, and 4 hours on high.

**Can it be machine washed?** The product information says it is machine washable. Remove the power bank before washing.

## Final verdict

The Soleilwear vest is worth considering if you want adjustable heat across the neck and core in a sleeveless layer, with a power bank included and pockets for everyday carry. Its published runtime varies considerably by heat setting, and its water resistance is described for light rain rather than as waterproofing. Choose it for flexible warmth during work or outdoor activities, look elsewhere if you need a heated garment with sleeves or a specified waterproof rating.
