Softalker Gingham Rectangle Tablecloth, 55" x 102", Sage Green with Tassels

The sage green and white gingham pattern gives a dining table a spring-ready look, while the tassel fringe adds a decorative edge without requiring extra table accessories.

At 55" x 102", this rectangular cloth is sized for a longer table. Will it suit an outdoor gathering as well as everyday dining? The listing presents it for both indoor and outdoor settings, including picnics and spring parties.

There is one detail worth weighing before you buy: the material descriptions are inconsistent. The manufacturer describes a 90% polyester and 10% cotton blend, while the product name and other listing details refer to linen cotton.

Tech summary

• Name: Softalker Gingham Rectangle Tablecloth with Tassel
• Size: 55" x 102", rectangular
• Color and pattern: Sage green and white checkered
• Material: Manufacturer description states 330GSM, 90% polyester and 10% cotton, other listing details say linen cotton
• Features: Tassel fringe, wrinkle-resistant, non-slip
• Care: Machine wash or wipe clean
• Quantity: 1 tablecloth

The size and checked pattern are the main practical considerations. The green-and-white design can bring a coordinated look to a kitchen or dining table, while the fringe gives the edges more visual detail than a plain cover. It is also listed for use at outdoor gatherings, but the product information does not provide a waterproof rating or test details. Treat the waterproof wording in the product name cautiously if protection from rain is a key reason for buying.

Tips for day-to-day use

Compare the stated 55" x 102" size with your table before ordering, then consider how much fabric you want to hang over each side. That matters especially for a long dining table or when setting the cloth for guests. For a picnic or party, the gingham pattern and tassels can make the table feel more dressed up without adding a separate runner or centerpiece.

Care instructions allow either machine washing or wiping clean. That gives you a choice between cleaning a small mess in place and washing the cloth after use. Since the material information is not consistent across the listing, check the care label when it arrives rather than assuming it is pure linen or cotton.

Buyer feedback often highlights the green-and-white pattern, the decorative tassels, and the fabric’s appearance. Some buyers also describe it as easy to wipe or wash and useful for outdoor gatherings. Those impressions can help set expectations for style and routine cleanup, but they do not establish waterproof performance.

Practical tips

For a seasonal table setting, pair the checked cloth with simple dishes or understated décor so the pattern remains the focal point. For everyday dining, the wrinkle-resistant and non-slip features may be useful, though the listing does not explain how those features were assessed. The decorative fringe is part of the look, so consider whether tassel detailing suits your table better than a plain-edged cover.

It suits you if you want a sage green checked tablecloth with fringe for dining or seasonal gatherings, and the listed dimensions work for your table. You may want to skip it if you need confirmed waterproof performance or require a clearly specified linen-cotton fabric.

Buying verdict

This Softalker cover is best considered as a patterned tablecloth with a decorative finish and flexible cleaning instructions, rather than as a verified outdoor-weather barrier. Its size, color, and tassels make it a fit for spring meals, picnics, and casual hosting, a plain table cover may make more sense if you want a simpler look. If you prioritize a precise fabric composition or documented water protection, the conflicting material descriptions and lack of a waterproof rating are meaningful reasons to choose a product with clearer specifications.
