## Description

A fixed-size rack can suit a compact counter, while a changing load of dishes calls for more room. The SNTD SN-YYC1T-EV expands to sit over the sink, giving you another way to use drying space. Its angled drainboard and movable spout direct water toward the sink. The key fit check is your sink width.

## Highlights

The rack combines stainless steel with black-coated wire, a drip tray, and a removable utensil holder with three compartments. Its extension expands from 12.2 to 21.7 inches, and the guardrail helps keep larger items from sliding off the extended section. The manufacturer lists a 45-pound weight limit, so this is not just a place for a few lightweight glasses, still, the limit does not tell you how many dishes will fit comfortably in your kitchen’s layout.

Water management is a central part of the design. The angled tray and adjustable outlet are intended to channel drips into the sink, and the spout can rotate in three directions to accommodate different sink positions. The tray also has a stopper for when you want to fit the rack into a cabinet. Assembly is described as tool-free, and the utensil holder can be removed for cleaning.

## How it fits

The product dimensions are listed as 12.2 inches deep, 16.5 inches wide, and 6.7 inches high, the rack’s extension is separately described as reaching 21.7 inches. The manufacturer advises that the sink should be narrower than 21.2 inches for compatibility. Measure the sink opening and consider where the drain outlet will sit before choosing this over a basic countertop drainer, which may be simpler if you do not need an over-sink extension.

It’s a great fit if you want to shift some drying space over the sink and keep utensils, dishes, and cookware together. It might not be a great match if your sink exceeds the stated width guidance or you need a larger fixed drying area. Buyer feedback is generally favorable about adjustability, drainage, and assembly, but opinions on sturdiness and size are mixed, some appreciate the compact footprint, while others wanted more room.

## Everyday use

After washing dishes, plates and bowls can go on the rack while silverware sits in the removable holder. Cups and cookware can use the remaining space, with the extension available when the load grows. The spout’s adjustable direction may help position the runoff around sink-side obstacles, while the rubber-coated feet are intended to help keep the rack in place and protect the counter. These details make it useful for routine hand-washing in a kitchen where counter space is shared with food prep or other tasks.

## When it makes sense

Choose this design if you want a rack that can extend over the sink, has a dedicated utensil holder, and includes a drain path rather than a tray that simply collects water. A smaller, fixed rack may take up less space when your dish load is consistently light, a larger standalone drying setup may suit a household that needs more capacity than this adjustable footprint provides. The SNTD is best considered when its stated sink-width guidance and the outlet position work with your setup.
