Smiry Fitted Vinyl Tablecloth, 30" x 72

For hosts, families, and picnic-goers who want a table cover that stays put through a meal, this Smiry tablecloth uses an elastic edge rather than clips to fit a specific rectangular table size. Its gold autumn harvest look suits seasonal dinners, while the wipe-clean vinyl surface is geared toward everyday spills. The fit is precise, though: it’s made for a 72" x 30" table, and the table must be no thicker than 1.57".

Key specifications

The cover is made from vinyl with a flannel backing and an elastic-fitted edge. It is designed for rectangular tables measuring 72" by 30" and is listed for tables seating 4–6 people. The waterproof surface can be wiped with a damp sponge or rag, so it’s set up for food and drink spills rather than a fabric cover that needs laundering after every mishap. The backing is described as non-slip and intended to help protect the tabletop from scratches and heat, it shouldn’t replace a trivet for hot cookware.

Who it’s for

It suits you if your table matches the stated dimensions and you’d rather not keep repositioning a loose cloth or securing one with clips. The elastic edge is meant to hold the cover around the table, while the flannel underside adds a softer layer between the vinyl and the surface. The gold seasonal pattern also makes more sense for a Thanksgiving meal, fall gathering, or picnic setup than for someone seeking a plain, year-round look. You may want to skip it if your table is a different size or thicker than the stated limit, the fitted design leaves less room for a casual, one-size drape.

Everyday use

Picture setting out plates and drinks for a backyard meal: the fitted edge is intended to stay in place as people sit down and reach across the table, and a small spill can be wiped away with a damp cloth. That’s a practical difference from a basic table cover that hangs loose and may need clips outdoors. The flannel backing is also intended to reduce slipping, but the product information doesn’t specify care instructions beyond wiping the surface, so don’t assume it can go in a washing machine.

Before you decide

Will it fit a table that seats four to six? That seating range is listed, but table dimensions matter more: the intended top measures 72" by 30".

Can it be used outside? Picnic and patio use are listed, and the elastic edge is designed to help limit movement. Wind resistance isn’t a guarantee, so the fit still depends on your table matching the stated size.

How do you clean it? The vinyl surface is described as wipe-clean with a damp sponge or rag. No additional cleaning method is provided.

When it makes sense

This is a focused choice for a correctly sized table when a fitted edge, easy surface cleanup, and a fall-themed appearance matter more than a loose cloth’s flexible drape. The main tradeoff is fit: unlike a cover you can shift across several table sizes, this one is made for the listed dimensions and thickness limit. Choose it for seasonal meals, picnics, or other gatherings where those details suit your setup, choose a different style if your table falls outside the fit or you need care instructions beyond wiping clean.
