SmallRig 6733 46mm Clip-On CPL Filter for iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max
Product description
Choosing a phone filter depends on whether you want a quick way to manage reflections or prefer to keep your camera setup bare. The SmallRig 6733 is a clip-on circular polarizing filter for iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, designed to reduce glare and bring out color in scenes such as landscapes, city views, and water photography.
Its silicone clip attaches directly to the phone, and the filter rotates so you can adjust the polarization while framing a shot. That makes it a focused add-on for photos where reflections or sky and water tones matter, rather than an accessory meant to change every kind of phone photo.

The rotating filter lets you fine-tune the polarization effect without changing the phone’s camera settings. It is intended to reduce glare on surfaces such as water and glass, and to enhance color depth. The optical glass has anti-reflection coatings, the listing does not provide more detail about their performance or care requirements.
Compatibility
The clip is made for the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. It attaches without a separate mounting base, adhesive, or tools. Case fit is more conditional: the product is described as compatible with only most phone cases that have large camera cutouts. It may not suit you if your case opening is too small or does not leave room for the clip to sit around the camera area.
Usage tips
For a landscape, water, or city photo, attach the filter and rotate it as you frame the scene to adjust the effect. What matters more for the shot: reducing a reflection, or keeping the surface’s natural look? Try adjusting the filter’s angle to choose the effect that best suits the composition. The included storage case and cleaning cloth provide a place to keep and care for the filter between outings.
It’s a great fit if you want a removable way to manage reflections for specific photos without adding a permanent phone attachment. Compared with carrying a more elaborate camera setup, this clip-on approach keeps the accessory compact and phone-focused. The tradeoff is that its value depends on shooting situations where polarization is useful, it is not a general-purpose upgrade for every image.
What to clarify
What does the CPL filter do? It is designed to reduce glare and enhance color depth, with examples including blue skies, water, and glass.
Does it require a mounting base or tools? No. The silicone clip attaches directly to the phone without a base, adhesive, or tools.
What comes in the kit? The filter, silicone clip, protective storage case, microfiber cleaning cloth, and quick start guide are included.
Is it worth it?
Consider the SmallRig 6733 if you regularly photograph reflective scenes with an iPhone 18 Pro or Pro Max and want a filter you can attach and adjust by hand. The rotating design and included storage accessories support that specific use. If you rarely shoot water, glass, or landscape scenes, or your phone case has a small camera opening, the clip-on format may offer less practical value.
