## Description

For adult dogs, choosing between a complete meal and a topper can be easier with one food that serves both roles. smallbatch Freeze-Dried Raw Small Bites feature grass-fed beef as a single-source protein, with organic produce. Want a flexible way to serve the same recipe? Offer the bites dry, rehydrate them, or crumble them over your dog’s usual food.

## At a glance
This grain-free, freeze-dried raw recipe is made with 88% grass-fed beef meat, organ, and bone, plus organic produce and natural supplements. The beef includes heart, liver, and kidney, the produce includes carrots, sweet potatoes, kale, and blueberries. The bite-size format gives you options at mealtime: serve it as a complete and balanced food for adult dogs, or use it as a topper over kibble or wet food.

The recipe is made with humanely raised meat and is free from added hormones, artificial colors, artificial flavors, and artificial preservatives. It is also gluten-free and contains no corn, wheat, or soy. For dog owners looking for a beef-based raw food without grains or multiple animal proteins, the single-source protein recipe offers a focused alternative to mixed-protein foods. It is made in the USA and comes in a shelf-stable freeze-dried format.

## Best use cases
Use the bites as the main food when you want a complete meal option for an adult dog, or crumble them over kibble or wet food to add a beef-based topper to an existing routine. Since the same product works in either role, it can suit households that want one recipe for different feeding occasions rather than a separate meal food and topper.

The small bites can also be served dry as a crunchy option or used as protein-rich training bites. They’re intended for adult dogs of all breeds, so the format can fit different adult-dog households. The single-source beef recipe may also be useful when you prefer to keep the animal protein in a meal centered on beef.

## Usage tips
Serve the bites dry for a crunchy texture, or rehydrate them with ¼ cup of warm water per ½ cup of Small Bites. The manufacturer also recommends measuring the serving according to your dog’s weight. To use them as a topper, crumble the bites over kibble or wet food, for a complete meal, serve them as your dog’s food. Follow the feeding directions on the package when determining the amount for your dog.
